Maya barely lived through the crash landing on Tau. Having lost her only friend and her home, she tries to move on and survive.
But she is not alone; the alien she had briefly seen in space has met the same fate as her, and now it's here with her.

Their ships burned with the same blue. On a world that was thought of as being a dead rock, unforeseen dangers lurk about. From starvation to persistent predators, nowhere is safe. 
But Maya quickly learns that sometimes the greatest dangers make the weirdest of friends.

It's not hiding anymore. At least the last turn would leave me alone for a couple of moments.


It's no longer silent. I hear it loudly breathing.


The air tastes acidic, sweeter than the CHD


It's darktime. I barely slept last dark, and now it's here, staring at me from the same point.


I tried throwing a rock at it, it moved slightly but kept staring


That seemed to work for a bit, it would leave me alone.


But anytime I stop, anytime I try to hide, it's here


I'm much further away from the alien now, maybe 800 lengths. I still remember the general direction.


I can't write about the turn, I can't focus


The eye left me alone during the light, but darktime, and it's here. Always here


I'm starting to lose sensation of air taste
