Adam stood at the mouth of a cave beneath the volcano. Xiaoshui had searched the area for a long time but found no trace of the golden box.

Adam passed through a secret passage leading straight to the treasure chamber. A six-eyed red spider guarded the way, but his soul slipped past and entered the creature's belly.
The golden box opened an eye and dragged Adam's soul inside.
In the pitch-black space within the box, Adam slowly opened his eyes. He stretched his arms, feeling his body once again.
"Feels good to be back… Now, time to find a way out."
He decided to try the same method that once helped him escape Licht's White Palace. Now that he possessed perfect Dragon Power, maybe it would work again.
"Ahhh!"
An earth-shattering roar burst from Adam's body—ancient and draconic. The air trembled as his power surged like a living storm.
The darkness twisted, but no passage appeared like it had before.
Golden light radiated from his body, his eyes glowing blood red as his divine power erupted uncontrollably.
"No…"
He fell to the ground, panting. The spatial layer here was too strong—sheer force wouldn't break through.
"Should I let Xiaoshui find Captain Yami?"
No.
Using Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash could only end in two ways—either it failed to open the space, or both Adam and the dimension were cleaved apart.
"I just don't believe this…"
While Adam remained trapped in the Sealed Soul Space, the main battlefield had reached its boiling point.
Yami and the others had already entered the Shadow Palace, each locked in their respective battles.
In the core chamber, Yuno was struggling against Rhya, who had stolen the gem from his chest.
Something strange was happening.
"This way, all our efforts will finally have meaning."
Rhya narrowed his eyes, voice cold.
"Who are you?"
It was impossible that Licht had deceived them—but the expression on "Licht's" face twisted into a cruel grin.
"Hehe~"
Before Rhya could react, a gaping hole tore through his chest.
"Rhya!" Licht shouted in disbelief.
The impostor ignored everyone and walked straight to the altar. After centuries of preparation, the layout was finally complete.
The Word Devil had obtained a body—and took the Five-Leaf Clover Grimoire from Licht's trembling hands.
The clover represents faith, hope, and love.
The fourth leaf brings good luck.
The fifth leaf hides the Devil.
Now, with the grimoire in its grasp, the Word Devil's power reached terrifying new heights.
Yuno fought desperately, but alone, he couldn't hold the line. Luckily, Asta, aided by Charmy and Mimosa, arrived on the main battlefield.
"Yuno!"
"Asta!"
They stood shoulder to shoulder, facing the Devil.
Meanwhile, far away atop the skull, Secre (Nero) began her preparations.
Teleported back by Finral Roulacase, she removed the magic stone from the monument and began placing it on the waist and, most importantly, the eyes of the First Wizard King.
The seal broke.
A dazzling golden light erupted.
Finral watched, wide-eyed, as the First Wizard King Lemiel Silvamillion Clover slowly awakened.
"Prince…"
"Secre, long time no see."
The ancient maid, who had lived for centuries, fell into her prince's arms.
"This isn't the time for reunions. I can sense that aura."
"Yes, Prince. The Devil has activated the Shadow Palace."
Lemiel turned toward the Royal Capital. Tremendous magic power burst from his body. The three joined hands, and a massive sword of light carried them toward the palace.
Meanwhile, in the abyss beneath the volcano, Adam remained trapped in endless darkness.
"I won't die here!"
He unleashed every spell and move he knew, but nothing worked. His power echoed uselessly in the void.
Then—crack!
A sharp sound split the silence.
The dragon-shaped jade pendant on his chest cracked open, glowing brilliantly and illuminating the entire space.
"What's happening?"
Adam grabbed it in shock. The pendant, his lifelong companion, let out a final dragon's roar—a sound that reverberated through his soul.
It seemed to be telling him this was the last time it would help him.
"No… don't go!"
For the first time, Adam panicked. This pendant wasn't just a relic—it was his hope, his friend, his reminder that he wasn't alone.
An orphan without magic power, Adam had clung to that pendant through every hardship.
He couldn't be like Asta, filled with unshakable faith—so he gambled everything on fate instead.
The jade pendant, shaped like the most mysterious creature from ancient Earth, had always felt… alive.
And now, it was dying.
"No… no…"
The Golden Grimoire resonated violently. Adam's magic book, left behind on the volcano, flew into the sealed space.
"ROAR!"
Snap!
The jade pendant released one final, thunderous dragon cry—as if saying goodbye.
A sphere of golden light merged into Adam's grimoire. The symbols of the twelve zodiac talismans—Rabbit, Ox, Tiger, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, and Rat—encircled him in radiant light.
A single tear fell.
Men don't cry easily… unless their hearts truly break.
"Ah! Licht… I'll make you my dog!"

His overwhelming aura shook the entire Clover Kingdom. Even the Queen of the Heart Kingdom and demons from the underworld felt it.
"That's impossible…"
Far away in the Diamond Kingdom, Ladin sensed the same energy—one akin to his own, yet far more terrifying.
Having just obtained the power of the Earth Devil, he already commanded three types of demonic magic.
"We'll need to strengthen our alliance with that guy."
