Chapter 3 - VEER GOT AN INTERESTING CASE

Veer said,"alright sir, tell me - what's the issue? It seems like all trouble have come together on your head that you called me so urgently."

L pe-

Sir Jon, here — read this and then come to my cabin and tell me when you're leaving. And I want to apologize once again.

Veer then starts reading the letter that Sir Jon handed him.

Hello Sir/Madam,

My name is Rolen Kill. I am the principal of a small school in this village.

For the past few days something very strange has been happening here.

People are frightened — corpses are being found or someone is going missing.

The villagers are scared, and because of that everyone has stopped sending their children to school.

Only you can help us now. Please help.

Thank you,

Yours sincerely,

Miss Rolen Kill

Head of School / Principal

This doesn't feel right. Whatever is happening will only be known once we get there. I then go to Sir Jon's cabin and say, "Sir, I accept this case, and I want to leave for the village tomorrow."

Sir Jon, hearing me, smiles and says, "All the best — be careful, Veer. This will be dangerous."

Veer: "Sir, excuse me, but I will go tomorrow — I don't have any money left. Can you lend me some?"

Sir Jon: "I knew you would agree so quickly. Fine — prepare to leave tomorrow. By morning the money will be in your account."

Veer: "Okay."

Sir Jon: "Here, Veer — I've arranged everything: accommodation near the school, tickets, and money. You'll get the money and the ticket tomorrow morning. Just come back alive and solve the case, okay?"

Veer: "Yes sir. I'll definitely solve it. I'm leaving now — goodbye, sir, we'll meet soon."

Veer then starts heading home.

Veer: "Sir Jon, please tell me if there's anything else related to the case that I should know, or anything that could help me."

Sir Jon: "So far nothing concrete has been found related to the case. If I learn anything, I'll tell you."

As soon as Veer reaches home he begins to get ready. He thinks, "Man, I really have to go from here to there. If the case is straightforward it should be solved within two hours. Otherwise we'll see what happens."

Then his phone rings with a message.

"Tu-tu-rinh ring ring"

"What's this — both a call and a message? I'll take the call."

"Hello."

"This is Veer. Who's speaking?"

"Veer, you just spoke and left — you forgot to check the number."

"Oh, sorry sir. I was a little absent-minded. How did you remember? I have transferred the ticket, address, and money to your phone."

"Good. Keep me updated quickly, okay?"

"Okay sir, you relax. As soon as I reach I'll message you that the case is solved."

"Sir Jon: The day is bad — call or message me and tell me everything, okay."

"Alright Sir Jon. I'm leaving now because the ticket you sent shows a train two hours from now for that village."

"Listen Veer, that's not the same village. The train goes near that village, but to reach the actual village you will have to cross the sea. There you'll meet one of our men who will escort you safely to that village. Okay?"

"Then travel safely."

"Yes sir, it should be safe."

"If not, it will be the same old trouble."

"Foolish boy — listen, when you come I'll show you some things."

"Sorry sir. See you."

"See you."

"Sir Jon — listen, you'll go there as a sub-inspector. I've arranged everything for you; you'll have no problems and can do your work comfortably."

"It's not happening right now — when it does, will you be there? Okay sir, I'll end the call now, I have to go."

"Tu-tu"

The call ends.

Veer calls a taxi and leaves.

Now let's see what problems will knock on his path.

Will Veer be able to solve all the troubles? Will he resolve the case quickly? Let's see what happens next.

As soon as Veer opens the door of his house, he suddenly notices a car already parked in front of it. Then, smiling to himself, he says, "Well, well, boss, this car is just right for me."

After that, Veer sits in the car, and the driver takes him straight to the station from where he has to catch the train.

Veer was just thinking about what could really be in this case—after all, the letter mentioned that children disappearing from the school wasn't something unusual. It must be the doing of some dangerous gang, or perhaps something in that village itself; whatever it is, he'll only find out once he gets there.

"Hello mister, I'm going to take some rest now. Let me know when we reach the station, okay?"

"Yes sir, I'll inform you as soon as we reach. Have a nice dream, sir."

Veer closed his eyes and fell asleep. Coincidentally, in his dream, he saw that same school again—but all the children looked strange, and the entire village appeared unusual. The people there seemed as if they had been through a lot; they showed no emotion at,

"What the hell"

Just then, two girls suddenly appeared and said to him, "Don't come to this school or this village. If you do, you will die! Don't come, don't come — I won't let you live. If you value your life, stay away from this village."

The girls attacked Veer, but as the train station arrived, the driver woke him up, and Veer realized he had been dreaming.

He thought to himself, "Was that just my imagination, or was the dream somehow connected to the case I received? There must be something strange and mysterious about all this."

Then, stretching his hands and neck slightly, he said with a smile, "This case is going to be exciting! Let's see what's really behind it. No matter what happens, I'm not backing down."

The driver said, "Alright, sir, I'll take your leave now. My work here is done, and it's almost time for your train to depart."

Veer replied, "Okay, by the way, what's your name? You haven't told me yet."

But the driver left without saying anything.

Veer thought, "How strange! He left without even telling his name."

Just then, the train whistle blew, and Veer walked to his seat.
