Adrian Innovashine had everything going for him.
Top of his class at MIT. A job offer from a leading game development studio. A graduation party filled with laughter, music, and friends who toasted to his future.
Then came the crash.
One moment he was stepping into a cab, the next—darkness.
When Adrian opened his eyes, he wasn't in a hospital. He wasn't even in his own body.
He sat up in a modest room, the air thick with incense and the walls lined with glowing runes. His hands were smaller. His body younger. A mirror across the room confirmed the impossible: he was now in the body of a seventeen-year-old boy.
A knock at the door interrupted his shock.
"Adrian, are you ready? The final exam begins soon," a voice called.
Final exam?
He opened the door to find a young man in ceremonial robes, holding a scroll that pulsed with divine energy. Behind him, a hallway shimmered with light, as if the building itself was alive.
Adrian's mind raced. This wasn't Earth. This wasn't MIT. This was a school for gods.
And somehow, he had taken over the body of a student about to graduate from it.
Thousands of thoughts flooded his mind. If this body was divine, what kind of power did it hold? What kind of world was this? And most importantly—how could he use his creativity to thrive here?
He glanced at the glowing scroll and smiled.
"I'm ready."
