Chapter 38 - Chapter 37: Love Around the Corner

Diana smiled slightly, holding a wine glass as she slowly approached: "Beautiful lady, have we met before?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Diana," Alex said with a smile, extending her hand.

Diana politely extended her hand as well, gently shaking Alex's.

However, Alex held Diana's hand firmly and did not let go immediately.

She gently squeezed Diana's hand, thinking, "Nice feel."

At the same time, she was testing Diana.

Diana tried to pull her hand back but was surprised to find that the other party's strength was immense; even she, known for her divine power, felt pressure.

Diana frowned and increased the pressure on her hand, trying to squeeze Alex's hand.

Alex noticed and also increased her strength, consistently overpowering her.

The two beautiful women shook hands, competing in strength, and after a while, some people around them were drawn to the sight.

Finally, Alex spoke: "Good strength, Wonder Woman, though you're still far from my level."

After Alex finished speaking, her hand lightly pulled away, releasing Diana's hand, who could not hide her surprise.

"Who exactly are you?" Diana asked in surprise, "How do you know my identity?"

Alex smiled slightly: "Come with me, let's talk somewhere else."

Diana frowned, thought for a moment, and then followed with her long legs.

"Skynet, hack some evil forces' money and immediately buy me a villa in the nearest location."

"Yes, Master, the villa will be credited immediately," Skynet replied instantly.

Seeing Diana follow, Alex walked outside and summoned her transformer "Blue Fire" from the system space.

After Blue Fire appeared, seeing another woman besides its master, it immediately transformed from a single-seat racing car into a cool two-seater sports car.

A passerby nearby was shocked at the sight and quickly pulled out his phone to record a video.

Just as he pressed the record button, his phone screen suddenly flickered with a series of strange codes, and then the phone went black and restarted automatically. Skynet had invaded his phone.

"Get in."

Diana, curiously examining the futuristic car, sat side by side with Alex in the seats.

Blue Fire started its engine and drove off automatically.

Alex leaned back leisurely in her seat, watching the road.

"This car drives itself?" Diana asked in surprise, thinking, "Do humans have such advanced technology now? Or does only she possess it?"

"Of course, he is a transformer, with life and autonomous consciousness," Alex replied, "Buckle up, he will take us to my new home."

"How strong is your power exactly?" Diana asked curiously.

"I'm not sure of the exact numbers because it's not convenient for me to test my full power on Earth."

"You are a god, aren't you?" Diana guessed, "With such immense power and astonishing beauty, are you the God of Strength? Or the Goddess of Love and Beauty?"

"Neither, I am Superwoman, a god among mortals."

"Are you also from Krypton? Now in U.S. society, including you, me, and Superman, there are already three super-powered individuals," Diana guessed.

"No, far from it." Alex mentally ordered Skynet in the system space: "Skynet, find videos of super-powered individuals and show them to her."

The display screen in Blue Fire's car suddenly lit up, beginning to play scenes that astonished Diana.

First, a human shadow swiftly dealt with criminals in a convenience store with lightning speed.

Next, the screen switched to an underwater image, where a long-haired man holding a mysterious trident in the depths of an ocean trench seemed to attack the camera lens of an exploration team on his face.

Finally, there was Cyborg regenerated by a mother box...

Meanwhile, Bruce, with the help of his butler Alfred, obtained some key data from LexCorp and brought it back to the Batcave for research.

Through this data, Bruce quickly discovered that LexCorp had recently been secretly smuggling a piece of Kryptonite of unknown origin.

Bruce was determined to get this green stone. He still remembered how terrifying the corrupted Superman was in that dreadful nightmare.

Even if there was only a one percent chance of the current Clark turning evil, Bruce wanted to nip it in the bud before the problem arose.

"I must get that Kryptonite," Bruce muttered to himself, his face clouded with worry.

"Bruce, I understand your concern," Alfred walked over, poured Bruce a cup of hot tea, and sighed, "But excessive precaution is not necessarily the best strategy. Why not talk to Clark first?"

"It's no use, Alfred, he is a high and mighty god; he and I have nothing in common," Bruce suddenly stood up, his obsidian-like eyes filled with determination, "For humanity, I must act, even if it means paying a certain price."

Alfred shook his head helplessly...

Time came to late night, above the dock.

Batman Bruce silently arrived at the top of a tall steel frame, using a sniper rifle to tag the truck in the Kryptonite transport convoy with a tracker. His eyes were cold and sharp, determined to get Superman's bane—Kryptonite.

As soon as Lex's convoy left the dock, Batman immediately drove the Batmobile in pursuit.

The heavily armored Batmobile immediately charged through bullets, using its powerful front to directly ram and send a security vehicle flying; the vehicle twisted and rolled to the roadside.

Crack—!

Batman then shot out a long steel cable, hooking a car and dragging it; amidst the twisting metal, the car was dragged and totaled by him.

Seeing this, the opponents pulled out heavy Gatling machine guns and aimed at the Batmobile, firing.

Tat-tat-tat—! A dense rain of bullets hit the Batmobile, but only chipped off a bit of paint.

Batman's right hand moved to the control stick, his thumb pressing a red button. The machine gun at the front of the Batmobile immediately fired continuous bullets, and amidst the sweeping sound, the enemy's vehicle flipped and exploded.

The enemies in the truck, seeing the unfavorable situation, fired a rocket. Batman was prepared, launching a decoy missile to intercept the rocket, and the two collided and exploded in mid-air.

Boom—!!

Amidst the fire of the explosion, the Batmobile drove out menacingly, completely unfazed by these attacks.

"This Batmobile is really good, but it's about to meet love around the corner." An unmanned drone in the sky was filming, and Alex watched the live broadcast remotely from home.

The Batmobile made a stylish drift around the corner, only to find Superman standing there, his red cape billowing and dancing in the night wind.

"What?!" Batman's pupils suddenly dilated, but it was too late to brake.

With a loud crash, the front of the Batmobile collided with Superman's indestructible body. Superman remained motionless, while the front of the Batmobile was severely deformed, with the front part collapsing inward.
