"Young Master, LexCorp's system is quite strong. Please give me five minutes," Bruce's old butler, Alfred, was busy operating equipment in the secret base.
Just as Bruce was waiting for Alfred's report, a tall man walked up to him.
"Hello, Mr. Wayne. I'm Clark Kent, a reporter from the Daily Planet. May I ask you a few questions?" the tall man said politely.
"The main act has begun," Alex observed this scene from a distance.
"Ah, Mr. Kent, no problem." Bruce maintained a polite smile, but in his heart, he was guessing the reporter's purpose.
"Thank you for your time," Clark asked, "What are your thoughts on Gotham's vigilante, Batman, taking it upon himself to punish criminals? Is he upholding justice but above the law?"
Bruce did not want to answer and countered Clark with a question: "Superman can cause immense destruction with a single thought. So, regarding Superman, should he be guarded against, or worshipped?"
"Wait a minute, Mr. Superman, I've finally seen you in person! Can we take a picture together?" Alex walked over excitedly with long legs, interrupting their conversation.
Clark was stunned and quickly feigned ignorance: "My beautiful lady, what are you talking about? You called me Mr. Superman? I don't quite understand what you mean." He put on a confused look and subconsciously pushed his glasses up.
Alex's lips curved upwards. She approached the two and said in a voice only the three of them could hear: "Clark, stop pretending. I know you very well; I know you are Superman."
Clark's face changed in embarrassment, and he stammered, unsure how to respond. He looked around and found no one else coming over; only Bruce was looking at him curiously, which made him even more flustered.
Seeing Clark's panic, Alex reassured him: "It's alright, Clark. I believe with Mr. Bruce's character, he won't reveal your true identity. I also have no ill intentions; I'm just a little excited to see Superman in person."
Clark relaxed slightly and glanced at Bruce.
Bruce nodded and said, "Don't worry, the Wayne family has always been discreet. Your secret is very safe with me."
Bruce Wayne's face remained impassive, but inwardly he was thinking: "So Superman's true identity is this reporter. Now I know crucial information."
"Superman, is it! I finally caught him in person!" The feud between him and Superman had already begun during the Zod battle.
This time, through this unknown beautiful woman's revelation, he learned Superman's true identity, while Superman apparently did not yet know he was Batman.
The asymmetry of information gave Bruce a huge first-mover advantage. Being skilled at planning and strategizing, his mind was already rapidly conceiving ways to use this advantage against Superman.
"The enemy is obvious, I am hidden, the advantage is mine," Bruce thought, a triumphant smile appearing on his lips.
At the same time, Bruce was also vigilantly observing the mysterious woman in front of him.
Bruce feigned composure, his mind already plotting his next moves.
He would use the resources at hand to quickly investigate the background of the woman before him—she was so beautiful, she didn't seem like an ordinary person. And her origin was unknown, her purpose unclear; he had to uncover her true identity.
"Alright, let's take a picture. But please, both of you must keep my identity a secret and not let my true identity be exposed," Clark nodded and agreed. He only asked that his true identity not be revealed.
"No problem! Let's all three of us!" Alex didn't even wait for Bruce's agreement before taking out her phone, and the selfie stick automatically extended.
She stood between Clark and Bruce, with her back to the two tall men, and then snapped a photo of the three of them.
After taking the photo, Alex put away the selfie stick and playfully winked at the two: "I will cherish this photo, after all, it's not easy for ordinary people to take a picture with two heroes at the same time!"
Bruce caught Alex saying "two heroes" and felt a little puzzled: "Does she also know my Batman identity?"
He maintained his smile and tentatively responded: "Two heroes? Mr. Superman and I? No, I'm just a wealthy man who occasionally does some charity; I'm no hero."
Alex gave Bruce a meaningful look, then turned to Clark: "By the way, Clark, this wealthy man next to us, Bruce, actually hides the identity of Batman!" The feeling of spoiling was great, it's just that she didn't know what it would change.
In fact, even if Alex hadn't said anything, Superman would have heard Bruce's conversation with his old butler through his super hearing later, and secretly learned his identity.
However, Alex was now saying it directly in front of both of them.
Bruce's smile instantly froze upon hearing this.
Clark's eyes widened as he looked at Bruce: "What? You are Batman?"
Alex's heart was filled with the pleasure of spoiling. She elegantly tossed her hair and nodded to the two: "I have other things to attend to, so I won't disturb your catching up. Clark, Bruce, goodbye."
With that, Alex hummed a cheerful tune and quickly turned to go elsewhere, leaving the two men staring at each other.
Bruce awkwardly met Clark's gaze, wondering how to deal with this sudden situation.
..."Damn, the advantage is gone now," Bruce thought. He knew clearly that if he didn't plan against Superman in advance, his chances of winning in a direct confrontation with Superman were almost zero.
"I didn't expect you to be Batman," Clark pushed up his glasses.
"I also didn't expect you to be Superman," Bruce chuckled dryly.
As Bruce finished speaking, he suddenly heard Alfred's voice in his earpiece: "Young Master, I have decrypted Lex's encrypted files. That item is in his company's underground secret laboratory. The exact location is..."
Clark remained impassive, having already activated his super hearing, ready to catch the rest of Alfred's words.
Bruce knew Superman had super hearing and quickly interrupted: "Wait, Alfred!"
He glanced at Clark and said, feigning seriousness: "I'm very sorry, sir, but I suddenly have an urgent matter to attend to. Can we talk another day?"
Without waiting for Clark to answer, Bruce strode away. As he left, he quietly said into his earpiece: "Alfred, it's not convenient here. We'll talk later."
Alex arrived at another part of the exhibition, observing a tall woman who stood out in the crowd.
She was a 6-foot-tall, slender woman with black hair, wearing a red form-fitting top and a hip-hugging skirt that accentuated her impressive curves.
She appeared composed, her thin red lips slightly parted, as she chatted animatedly with other guests, while also observing something on the side.
This was Wonder Woman Diana.
Alex observed her with interest, and Diana just happened to turn her head, their gazes meeting.
