Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Tony in Distress

Inside a terrorist base, Tony Stark, who had woken up after being knocked out, was on the verge of a breakdown. He was being held captive and forced to build missiles. A piece of shrapnel had lodged near his heart, but thankfully, Dr. Evan Dray had crafted an electromagnet device to keep the shrapnel from reaching his heart.

Determined to escape, Tony decided to build the Mark 1 Iron Man armor.

With Dr. Dray's assistance, Tony's work progressed steadily. "Tony, they're coming. Hurry and put on the armor. I'll hold them off for a bit," Dray urged.

Just as they finished the Mark 1 armor, the terrorists, sensing something was wrong, closed in. Tony hadn't even managed to put on the armor yet.

"Dr. Dray, stick to the plan!"

"Dray, don't go!!!"

Dray grabbed a gun and went to confront them, risking his life.

"Da, da, da..."

With a surprise attack, Dray took down two enemies. However, more terrorists rushed in, ready to break through.

Tony's armor was on, but the program was still loading. Anxiously, Tony stared at the screen.

"Come on, hurry!" he urged.

"I'll save you two. You can lend me the armor later," a clear, melodious female voice rang out. Alex Rivers, in her Superwoman attire, appeared beside Tony.

Without waiting for a response, Alex activated her Super Speed and charged at the terrorists, engaging them in battle.

Several bullets flew toward Dray, but Alex intercepted them. The bullets hit her metallic body, deforming and bouncing off.

Under the stunned gazes of Dray and the terrorists, Alex's eyes emitted Heat Ray lasers, instantly neutralizing several threats.

"Are you a War Goddess?" Dray marveled at the unbelievably powerful Alex.

"You're welcome," she replied.

Just then, Tony's armor program finished loading. A bewildered Tony snapped back to reality and quickly donned his armor, ready to fight alongside Alex.

"No matter who you are, we need to get out of here as soon as possible," Tony reminded her.

"Lend me the armor!" Alex's eyes lit up seeing Tony's armor ready. With Super Speed, she transferred the armor from Tony to herself.

It was the first-generation armor, and Alex planned to enjoy it before returning it.

Tony: "???"

Excited, Alex wore the armor into battle, ignoring the two stunned men. Soon, the battle was over, and the armor was nearly wrecked.

Tony and Dray exchanged glances, their confusion evident.

Filled with questions, Tony approached Alex. "Who are you? And..."

"Ah!"

"Stop babbling, let's go. I'll fly you two," Alex interrupted, activating her Super Speed. She grabbed Tony and Dray, soaring into the sky.

Dray: "Wait, the armor is almost broken."

Tony: "Stop flying, the armor has no energy."

Dray: "We're about to fall."

Tony: "Stop quickly, find a place to land."

Dray: "Ah, no, stop!"

Realizing something was amiss, the two men were amazed. How could the armor sustain such flight?

"Tony, did you secretly modify it?" Dray wondered.

"Absolutely not."

"No, how can we talk and communicate normally? We're flying at high speed, yet we don't feel any airflow."

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, for winning the battle. You have gained 10,000 points. Current points: 60,000."

Having absorbed solar energy for days, Alex's abilities had grown significantly. Even with two passengers, her flight speed exceeded Mach 20. Flying from Afghanistan to the U.S. would take less than half an hour.

Eventually, Alex dropped Tony and Dray near a rescue plane and flew away.

"System, how many points does it cost to travel to other worlds?" Alex inquired.

"Other worlds are not yet unlocked. 100,000 points can permanently unlock one universe."

"Once unlocked, can I travel infinitely?"

"Yes, but there is a 15-day cooldown each time. To shorten the time or travel with others, a certain amount of points is required."

"That's fine; it's a conscientious system," Alex mused.
