In 2009 someone suddenly made a live broadcast to the entire world claiming that they've slain God. The internet exploded with insults,others laughed,some pretended it never happened. All expect for the three major families. They were the first to offer their support,and also the first to put down their pride and beg for mercy. The beginning of hell or the day God was slain,that is what people now call March second 2009. That day marks the time humanity was stripped of it's freedom.
The day had began like normal until a sudden earth quake happened. Huge cracks opened and water filled it up, splitting the world and combining some parts untill there were exactly ten kingdoms. Portals opened and monsters stepped out,were ever they stepped was their territory. Goblins,dragons and all sorts of other creatures that should have only existed in a fantasy became real.
Humanity was pushed to the brick of extinction. The three families lowered their heads and begged for mercy on humanity.
Afterwards humanity was granted ranks and magic. It was in this period that Rising Star Academy was formed. Hunters started appearing to protect humans. But not everyone is lucky,for hunters were so few in numbers. Many people were scared of traveling to the fifth kingdom Mystical Dream,a kingdom that never knows day. At the center of this kingdom is where Rising Star Academy is located.
Mystical Dream is the most beautiful kingdom so far. The stars spread across the sky,cars speeding across the road,stores open and the delicious scent of food fills the street. Expect no one's driving those cars,no one opens those shops and no one dares to sell food. Rising Star Academy was equally beautiful. The compound is filled with many beautiful glowing flowers,a huge garden and a milky way scenery that makes you feel like your in space.
Underneath the school building is a military base,filled with captured monsters and many weapons. Scientists were busy experimenting on monsters. Meanwhile a meeting was being held to discuss about the next raid. There was a huge glass people with many people sitting around it,many were wearing masks,only two people weren't. A man with short black hair busily scanning papers and a woman with red hair lazily playing games on her phone.
"Rose!,did you hear a single word we just said?" The woman,Rose, chuckled nervously and placed down her phone"I'm sorry sir. But I didn't hear a single word" Many of the people shook their heads The man placed down the papers and stared at her for a minute before sighing and saying" We were discussing about the upcoming raid. We decided to visit that dungeon where you gave birth to the twins"
Rose suddenly stood up surprising everyone"If this is to find out about their orgin then forget it" One of the people stood up and slammed their hands on the table"Rose you are one of our strongest hunters. And I would hate to be suspicious of you,but it seems you're always trying to secrets. Especially about those twins"
Rose sighed and picked up her phone making her way to the door"Like I said I will tell you when I'm ready. Don't rush me unless you want me to quit. I haven't even told them about their father,what makes you think I would tell you?"
The person looked angry and was about to say something when another person placed their hand on his shoulder. The person reluctantly sat down. Rose walked to the bathroom, upon reaching there. She drew numbers on the mirror and a door suddenly appeared. She stepped through it and it disappeared. The next moment she was standing in front of a white door. She smiled to herself and pushed the door open.
The scent of food immediately filled her nostrils. She headed to the kitchen where a boy with red hair was busy cutting vegetables,while another with blue hair was frying chicken. Upon seeing her,the boy with red hair ran and hugged"Welcome home mommy!" Rose placed kisses on his forehead, making him giggle" Good to see you too Axel" She then turned to the boy who was frying chicken"And you too Alex" Alex didn't even turn to look her. Axel happily held her hand and led her to the table"Please wait a bit mommy!. Dinner will be ready soon!" He then happily ran back to continue cutting vegetables.
This had become a routine for them. They always cook for her everyday. Rose always wonders where they even learnt how to cook. She watched them with a smile until dinner was ready. She helped them serve the food before they began eating. Afterwards she helped them take a bath and read stories to them. This is how everyday is,but even so. She enjoys these little moments. She watched Axel fall asleep and prepared to leave before seeing that Alex was still awake.
"Is there something on your mind Alex?" Alex stared at her and rolled his eyes"You know what's on my mind. But you never answer me,always saying things about how I look like him. But you never say anything about him" Rose sighed and sat next to Alex"I will I promise I will. So get some sleep okay?" Alex sook his head and turned to face away from her"What's the point in sleeping if morning will never come?" Mystical Dream,this place had never know morning,at least not after the beginning of hell. Alex was born only a year later and had yet to see the sunlight
"Close your eyes and sleep. When you open them again you'll see a beautiful morning. Something interesting will happen tomorrow and that will be your morning. I promise you. Tomorrow you'll get to see a beautiful morning" Alex obviously didn't believe but he didn't say anything and closed his eyes, praying that maybe when he does open he'll see a beautiful morning.
Rose sighed at finally being able to put Alex to sleep and was just about to head to bed when she received a sudden notification*Emergency meeting at Rising Star Academy* "An emergency meeting?. Ever since I become a hunter I've never seen an emergency meeting before. This obviously can't be good"
