Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I Came Here Well, but I Can’t Go Back

"I really don't want to hurt anyone!"

"I really don't!"

Loki muttered bitterly. His eyes were filled with sadness, pain, and deep self-blame. He had caused the deaths of countless innocent people.

Inside the TVA archives, Loki sat alone, watching The Avengers films from the first to the third, the entire place silent except for him. The loneliness was crushing.

He saw everything — the future of the Avengers, his family, everyone he cared about. And one by one, they all died… except for his brother, Thor.

...

Meanwhile, in the Demon Capital of the Dragon Country, a young man named Leo sat in his small apartment, finishing the first episode of Loki.

He sighed softly. "Man… everything Loki did was just for love — for his parents' affection and equal treatment."

"All those so-called glorious missions he believed in... only ended up causing his mother's death."

Leo's gaze slowly shifted from Avengers 1 to Avengers 3. His emotions changed — from regret, to empathy, to bittersweet tears.

When he saw Thor crawling toward Loki's dying body, hugging his brother one last time, Leo couldn't hold back his tears.

Loki had finally achieved what he always wanted — forgiveness and peace.

"Maybe Loki's ending isn't that bad," Leo murmured. "At least his main-universe self got his redemption."

He looked out at the neon lights beyond his window, a quiet sadness flickering in his eyes. He had no one here, nothing tying him down.

After turning off his computer, Leo tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. Something felt off tonight — like the world itself was whispering that something big was about to happen.

"Forget it," he muttered, standing up. "Maybe a walk will clear my head. I've been watching too much TV lately."

He chuckled at himself, grabbed his phone and keys, and stepped out into the cool night air.

...

The small park near his apartment was peaceful. Leo sat on a bench, looking up at the stars. His thoughts drifted away, and for the first time in a long while, he felt relaxed.

And then... he fell asleep.

When he woke up again, panic hit him like a truck.

"What the—"

He was still lying on the same bench, but everything around him was different. The skyline was filled with unfamiliar skyscrapers. And there were... groups of blondes, blue-eyed foreigners everywhere.

"Wait, what the hell?!"

Had he been kidnapped? Who could possibly have the power to move him across the ocean overnight?

He checked himself — no injuries, no restraints. He was fine.

"But why me? I'm just a broke college grad. Kidnapping me is a waste of effort!"

He rubbed his face, frustrated. "This is insane."

Alright, stay calm. Go to the consulate. Confirm your identity. Get sent home. Problem solved.

That was the plan.

But apparently, God — or whoever ran this place — wasn't on his side today.

...

"Sir, please come with us."

A cold voice came from behind.

Leo turned and froze. A group of people in strange uniforms were standing there — armor-like suits, badges glowing faintly.

He frowned. Why did they look... familiar?

"Who are you? Why are you arresting me? What law did I break? Do you even have an arrest warrant!?"

He shouted loud enough to draw attention. If they were criminals, someone would notice, right?

Sure enough, the crowd began to gather.

"Hey! What kind of organization are you? You can't just arrest someone in public without showing ID!"

"Yeah, this is America! You can't just drag someone off the street!"

A few onlookers stepped forward, and even some blonde girls looked worried.

Who could stand by when a handsome young guy was about to be abducted by weirdos in cosplay?

...

"Alas, foolish mortals," the leader said with a sigh.

That tone. That smug expression. Leo's gut twisted.

"Wait… no way…"

His eyes widened. "You're the Time Variance Authority!?"

The leader smirked. "So, you do know something. Impressive for a disruptor of the Sacred Timeline."

Leo's jaw dropped. "No. No, no, no, this can't be real—"

"Come quietly," the agent said calmly. "You're just a mortal. Don't make this harder."

He casually tossed out a Time Reset Device.

In an instant, the crowd froze — time itself rewound. The people who had been shouting disappeared as if nothing had happened.

The agent opened a glowing orange Time Door, and before Leo could even move, he was pulled through it.

...

In a void-like space above the universe, Leo found himself standing alone, his heart racing.

He had transmigrated.

This was the Marvel Universe.

And the first thing that happened to him... was getting arrested by the TVA.

"Great," Leo groaned. "I came here well — but I can't even go back."

He wanted to bash his head against a wall. Whoever did this to him, he swore he'd find them someday.
