Leo himself was a "three-no" product — no background, no luck, and no damn points. So how the hell was he supposed to join any kind of lottery?
"Replying to the host,"
"Acquiring points is simple. Changing a character's fate or altering the direction of a major event will earn your points, depending on the degree of change."
"The reason you were captured by the Time Variance Authority is because, while they were observing Loki, they unintentionally discovered a timeline disruptor — which is you!"
"The host's current points come from the Newbie Gift Pack provided by the Destroyer System."
Holy crap!
Leo felt a pounding headache. What kind of unprovoked disaster was this? It was truly a case of sitting at home, and trouble falling from the sky!
So, when he appeared in the Marvel Universe, the TVA had already noticed him. Turns out it was all Loki's fault!
In their effort to "protect" the Sacred Timeline, their constant surveillance of Loki had accidentally exposed him too.
"Loki, you bastard. You've wronged me big time! You're a walking disaster!"
Leo silently made a note — one day, he'd make Loki pay for dragging him into this mess.
"So, what do I do now? They reset all timeline disruptors — that means getting erased forever."
"I can't just die the moment I arrive here. And this damned place... full of mortals pretending to be gods. What the hell is going on?"
He was right. This cursed place suppressed every kind of ability. Even Loki was treated like some circus monkey.
If he could escape, this group of mortals hiding behind high-tech toys would never be able to stop him. Then, the sky would be the limit.
He wouldn't mind having a little fun with these mortals either. Lady Loki killed them like she was playing a casual game.
Once he got out, infinite power would be within his grasp. Crushing them would be as easy as stepping on ants.
"Wait… Loki! Mobius!"
Leo suddenly remembered those two schemers.
Mobius would be tricked by Loki. Loki would escape with Lady Loki, chasing after the Time Keepers.
"If I follow Loki, I can escape. If I show enough strength, he'll want to team up."
Don't be fooled by Loki's earlier "we'll deal with him later" talk — total nonsense. Loki, the God of Mischief, never keeps promises.
He'd soon be struggling for his own survival, relying on Mobius just to stay alive. Saving Leo wouldn't even cross his mind.
"Soon, Loki will be interrogated, then saved by Mobius before he's sentenced to death."
"Then the two of them will watch the Avengers movie together. All of it is Loki's personal show."
"And those so-called Time Keepers? They're not divine beings — just ordinary Earthlings!"
"The TVA doesn't allow the Multiverse to branch out, claiming to guard the 'Sacred Timeline.' Suspicious as hell!"
Leo kept running all the events through his mind, piecing them together from the shows and online theories he'd seen.
He quickly mapped out his escape route.
Loki's judgment was near. Mobius would save him. They'd work together — for now.
Then Mobius would take him to "watch the movie." Leo even suspected that Loki's trial was staged — a setup to recruit him.
But Loki wasn't easy prey. He and Mobius would outsmart each other, and in the end, Loki would snatch the Time Controller.
That would be his moment — when Loki caused chaos, Leo would slip away unnoticed.
"Right. Just wait. It'll all start soon!"
"What damn Time Variance Authority? A bunch of mortals think they can judge me? What a joke."
Having sorted everything out, Leo finally exhaled. Fishing in troubled waters — definitely the right play.
"Loki! Leo!"
A sudden voice echoed through the room.
Everything was about to begin.
"Well, Loki, showtime. The rest's up to your performance."
Sorry, my friend — better you than me.
After all, you'll be working for the TVA soon. They won't kill you yet.
Boom!
With a loud metallic bang, the heavy door opened. Damn, this thing was ridiculously solid.
Leo and Loki both looked up as a dark figure stepped in.
"You two — follow me. It's time for judgment."
The black guard barked the order arrogantly. Leo had the sudden urge to kick him straight in the crotch.
But — impatience spoils great plans. There would be time for payback later.
Loki, on the other hand, flashed a charming smile — elegance, as always, his default setting.
With that inexplicable gentlemanly grin, he followed the guard out.
Leo trailed behind him. Two prisoners on death row, heading toward judgment.
Just like in the show, someone ahead panicked and shouted — and was instantly reset into dust.
Leo froze.
Watching it on TV was one thing. Seeing it happen right in front of him was something else entirely.
A living, breathing person — gone. Just like that.
A pile of dust where a life used to be.
The sight shook him to the core.
Yesterday, he'd been a normal student, studying hard, living an ordinary life.
Now, he was witnessing death like it was nothing.
Poof.
Gone.
Strength!
Power!
What if that happened to him next? Would he just vanish — erased from the Universe?
Coming to this world alone, and leaving it alone?
Leo clenched his fists tight.
Right now, he was no better than that helpless mortal — his life and death at the mercy of others.
"I want strength."
"Power unmatched across the Universe."
"The power to trample this world beneath my feet!"
"I want this sky to no longer block my eyes! I want this Earth to no longer bury my heart! I want all beings to bow to my will! I want all Buddhas to vanish into the void!"
"I want to hold the sun and moon in my hands and pluck the stars themselves — to look down upon life and death as illusions!"
Something called ambition began to take root inside Leo's heart.
One day, it would grow into a towering tree.
While Leo was deep in thought, Loki was just as shaken — not by morality, but by the power on display.
For once, he didn't want to find out what that reset stick would do if it touched him.
So Loki quietly took his number and waited for his so-called judgment.
Leo did the same — silently waiting for his opportunity.
If he wasn't called together with Loki, he'd make his move — ambush a guard, snatch a Time Controller, and open a portal to freedom.
Time passed.
Loki's turn came first. He walked forward confidently.
Judgment? Please. He didn't need a lawyer for this.
With his silver tongue, dealing with these clowns would be child's play.
