"Ding Showing Host's pet Pushpa's status"
Name: Pushpa
Age: ????
Bloodline: ????
Realm: ????
Physique: ???????
Special powers: Schrodinger's Cat, @$$^#$#$, %<$^&$&
Evaluation: This is a mysterious cat summoned by an arrogant snake. There isn't much information available about her. She enjoys playing around her master. This cat is both dead and alive until you open the box. There's a saying that curiosity killed the cat, but this cat likes to kill curiosity, so don't be too curious.
After checking Pushpa's status, I understand why the system confirms she is likely an outer god entity. Most of her status is unknown; only the evaluation section provides some insight. Her title, Schrodinger's Cat, is mentioned in her status and special power section. In summary, she is a mysterious cat who is anything but ordinary.
Thinking this, I turned my head toward Pushpa as she lay in her new pet bed. She was gently licking her paws and cleaning her fur. To anyone else, she appeared to be a normal cat, but her status told a different story. Noticing my gaze, she looked at me and meowed in a cute voice. It has become her habit to meow adorably whenever I look at her. It's as if she wants to be cute in front of me, and I must say she succeeds every time. She is so adorable that I couldn't resist getting out of bed, lifting her into my arms, and cuddling her. I don't know if she is some kind of entity or not, but from now on, she is my pet and a member of my family.
Maybe tomorrow I should prepare to enter the city. Lu Xiaoran's mother is still in danger, and their training for the new realm is almost complete. I also want to experience city life in this new world; I really want to see the city too.
With these thoughts, I cuddled with her, and before I knew it, I fell asleep beside her.
Pov: Third person
After sleeping while cuddling with her, Vik rested in his bed. Unbeknownst to him, his cat Pushpa was still awake. She gazed at his face, then tilted her head upward, looking at the ceiling or perhaps up into the sky.
Up above the world of Blue Star, where Vik resided, a vast starry sky stretched out. In this sky, you can find many celestial bodies like stars, moons, and other habitable worlds such as Blue Star. Currently, a long caravan of spaceships of various sizes and shapes glided through the stars, all moving in the same direction—toward Blue Star, where Vik lived.
On a ship resembling an ancient sailboat with high sails and a wooden body, an observer might wonder how this old vessel could sail in outer space. But this is no ordinary boat; it is a product of the best immortal technology from a realm that exists in a higher plane than the starry sky. This ship is surrounded by an armada of modern spaceships, which seem to flank it as if it serves as the command ship of the fleet. On the front deck stands a man with bright golden hair, white skin adorned with golden tattoos, and eyes that resemble two bright blue stars.
Even without knowing who he was, anyone could tell from his demeanor that he held a very high position; he might be the commanding officer of this ship. Behind him stand several people who appear more like ordinary humans with white skin and black or brown hair. However, they all wear ancient robes, men and women alike. One person, an old man with gray hair and eyes, stepped forward and bowed deeply to the blue-eyed man. He then said, "Dear envoy Rayborn, we are very glad that you have accepted our request and joined us on this trip."
Hearing this, the man named Rayborn replied, "There's no need for this formality, old man Xi. I am doing my duty. If this world has truly been invaded by some eldritch entity, then I must solve this problem and purify it. That is my duty as a Watcher."
Old man Xi responded, "That's why it's crucial, Envoy Rayborn. This world is very important to our immortal realm. Many chosen ones have been born here simultaneously. I don't need to explain how much of an anomaly this is. Our immortal realm only asks that you destroy the entity. If you need to wipe out a large portion of this world, inform us, and we will evacuate all chosen ones before you take action. If it comes to the worst, you may have to destroy the entire population, but we want you to keep the world core intact."
Rayborn raised an eyebrow and said, "Master Xi, I don't think you're a fool. You know what kind of threat those entities pose. If I find this world infested with corruption, I might even have to isolate and destroy it completely."
Old man Xi merely smiled and said, "Envoy Rayborn, there's no need to worry too much about the threat. Our immortal realm has already prepared for the worst circumstances."
As he said this, old man Xi took out a white pearl from his robe. Seeing the pearl, Rayborn's expression changed to one of surprise. "I didn't expect you, immortal people, to bring out a Law pearl. Your higher-ups must prioritize this realm highly. This pearl surely contains a complete law of light. Now I'm curious why the immortal realm goes to such lengths for a small realm. Even with some children of destiny, you wouldn't act this way, as they have a high chance of surviving tough situations."
Old man Xi frowned and replied, "Envoy Rayborn, I think that's enough information for you."
Just as he spoke, an immense pressure surrounded him, making him feel as if a mountain weighed upon his shoulders. All those aboard the immortal ship felt this pressure, which emanated from Rayborn. He maintained a nonchalant expression but spoke with a hint of killing intent. "I think you misunderstand something, old man. I'm not here to do your dirty work. I could kill you and your companions without any consequence from your immortal realm. So, whether you like it or not, you need to tell me the reason."
Hearing this, old man Xi gritted his teeth. "There are not just chosen ones or children of destiny; many children of realms and perhaps even children of planes might be there. Our immortal experts noticed this realm has an overwhelming amount of destiny surrounding it, enough to rival the levels of higher realms."
After he spoke, the pressure dissipated, leaving him feeling lighter. But soon Rayborn's voice reached his ears again. "I will help you, but in exchange, I want a seed of destiny for myself." As he swiped his hand, all the members on the immortal ship, except old man Xi, turned to ash. Now only Rayborn and old man Xi remained. Looking toward Blue Star, Rayborn said, "Too many people overheard our conversation, so I silenced them. It's necessary for our cooperation to remain hidden, right, master Xi?" Old man Xi nodded in response. The armada of ships continued moving toward Blue Star, toward a forest where a mysterious snake resided, while Vik remained oblivious to it all.
