Chapter 125: gatling bodhisattva
Mo Fei and the other five flew directly over White Rhino Canyon in a helicopter.
Inside the canyon was a massive herd of rhinos, at least a hundred of them, thick-skinned and huge. Even with Mo Fei's current abilities, if he were to go head-to-head, he could easily be trampled into a meat patty.
However, if Mo Fei wanted to fight a protracted battle with the rhinos, hunting them one by one, then no matter how many rhinos there were, it probably wouldn't be enough for him to kill.
But how much time would that waste? Mo Fei was too lazy to fight a protracted battle with a herd of rhinos. If it were a group of beauties, that would be a different story.
Amidst Mikayla and the others' cheers, the helicopter flew towards the final stage of Jumanji—the Leopard God statue!
...Mindy arrived at the entrance of the City Academy of Sciences.
"Are you sure my brother hasn't come out since he entered the school?" Mindy asked, leaning against the Chevrolet Camaro.
"Confirmed..."
"Alright." Mindy nodded and walked into the City Academy of Sciences.
She had also learned the full details of Mo Fei's conversation with a small boy named Parker from bumblebee.
The closer she got to the Underground Room bumblebee had mentioned, the stronger Mindy's uncomfortable and strange feeling became.
Emmmmmm... no doubt about it, her troublemaker brother had stirred up trouble again.
Pushing open the door to the Underground Room, Mindy was astonished to find it empty.
"What's going on?" Mindy frowned and murmured, "Didn't they say they were all in the Underground Room? Did they leave? But why wouldn't my brother take bumblebee? He wouldn't abandon bumblebee and leave alone!"
Frowning, Mindy entered the Underground Room to investigate.
"What's that?" Mindy suddenly noticed something in the Underground Room that had established some kind of connection with the spatiotemporal energy within her body.
Guided by the energy's resonance, Mindy gradually approached the game console representing the Jumanji World.
"Is this it?" Mindy held the game console, a bit puzzled as to why this seemingly last-century game console would have a trace of her own spatiotemporal energy attached to it. But Mindy felt it was related to the trouble Mo Fei had caused, because in this World, she had only traveled through time and space with Mo Fei once.
After a moment of thought, Mindy took a step back, her eyes glowing with a golden light, and a golden door opened behind her.
Suddenly, a golden-yellow energy appeared on the game console. Mindy opened the other side of the spatial door inside the game console.
The game console flashed with a ghostly blue energy, confronting the golden-yellow energy Mindy displayed.
However, that ghostly blue energy wasn't very hostile. While preventing Mindy's energy from massively entering the game console, it was also quietly devouring and merging with Mindy's spatiotemporal energy.
"Indeed, is it a Small World?" Mindy narrowed her eyes. "So my brother was taken to another World by it?"
Mindy couldn't allow Mo Fei to remain in a Small World that might contain Small World deities for an extended period. If anything happened, she wouldn't even have time to rescue him.
So she increased her energy output.
Suddenly!
After a while of confrontation, for some unknown reason, that ghostly blue energy suddenly fully retracted, no longer resisting Mindy's spatiotemporal door connecting to the Small World inside.
Mindy felt something was off. That ghostly blue energy definitely didn't retreat because it couldn't withstand her spatiotemporal energy. So what exactly was the owner of this game console planning?
To let her in, then immediately imprison her, capture her? Or something else?
Anyone who could possess a Small World, even a fool would know that the other party was definitely not a simple being.
"But I don't care, I have to bring that troublemaker brother out!" Mindy gritted her teeth.
Spacetime connection successful.
Mindy extended one hand into the opened spatial door, and there was no phenomenon of the game console exploding. Then, her entire body entered the spatial door.
—
The moment Mindy's spatial door successfully connected to the Jumanji World, Nigel in the Jumanji World suddenly opened his eyes. He mumbled, "It's that meddlesome bald woman again. So many years have passed, and she's not dead yet?"
"Sigh! That overpowered guy coming in has already completely broken the game's balance. Now, another little girl who can travel through time and space is allowed in. What's the point of playing this game? Should I just send them directly to the last stage? I've really suffered a huge loss this time!" Nigel sighed.
—
Night fell.
A crimson sun hung high in the sky, full of an eerie beauty.
Occasionally, a crow flew by, bringing with it a chilling and terrifying atmosphere.
The slowly approaching wind seemed to carry a language, like the murmuring whispers of unknown cult sorcerers in a bizarre, dim forest, difficult to understand yet exuding an unsettling and malicious aura.
Gothic trees stretched out wantonly in grotesque poses, like an allegory of the oldest evil curse on this Earth, as if gazing at them for too long would lead to madness, an nauseating feeling sinking into one's mind.
"Look, that elephant. According to the hint, when you see the elephant, the climb begins." Bethany held the map, following the clues, and found what the snake urn hint referred to: a human-sized elephant stone carving.
"What does 'climb' refer to? Climbing these strangely shaped trees?" Spencer asked, puzzled. "These trees are only two meters tall, do they need to be climbed?"
"I don't know, but the map indicates there are Guardians here." Bethany glanced at the map again and said, "This is the last stage, so I suppose the Guardians must be very powerful!"
"Dr. Yongshi is the protagonist of this World, Dave, hand the gem to Spencer." Mo Fei looked up at the surrounding environment and said casually.
"Oh, okay, okay!" Dave quickly handed the emerald to Spencer.
The moment Spencer took the gem, instantly, before Mo Fei and the others, a path illuminated by torches unfurled.
"Should we... go this way? There should be an ambush, right?" Spencer hesitated.
"What are you afraid of? Don't you still have me!" Mo Fei said with a smile, patting Spencer's shoulder.
Led by Mo Fei, the group headed straight onto the torch-lit path.
However, they had only taken two steps when green, lantern-like objects appeared from the woods on both sides of the path... "It's Panthers!" Dave exclaimed in surprise. "They are the third largest felines in existence, with a bite force of up to 1250 pounds."
Panthers have relatively large heads, wide faces, thick chests, plump bodies, well-developed muscles, and short, thick limbs.
"Run!" Alex urged quickly.
"Calm down, calm down." Mo Fei pulled out a cigar, slowly lit it for himself, and said nonchalantly, "They're just a bunch of Panthers, what's there to be afraid of?"
"Panthers have the strongest explosive power among felines, far exceeding lions and tigers. I've roughly counted, there are nearly a hundred Panthers here. Are you sure you can handle them?" Dave's teeth were chattering.
"Are you kidding? Is there ever a time when I, Mo Fei, can't handle things?"
Mo Fei held the cigar with his right hand, and with a flick of his left hand, a gatling bodhisattva appeared out of thin air.
Namo gatling bodhisattva, six pure depleted uranium rounds, three thousand six hundred rotations per breath, great compassion to save the people of the World!
