Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 - The Fall of the Ogre

The roar of the Ogre echoed through the valley, shaking the ground like thunder.

Everyone struggled to stand — our weapons dull, our mana nearly gone.

Then Minji stepped forward, her eyes glowing blue.

"Frozen Field!" she shouted.

A wave of frost spread beneath the Ogre's feet.

Ice climbed up its legs, covering the ground and making it lose balance.

The massive creature slipped backward, slamming into the earth with a thunderous crash.

"Now's our chance!" Samuel yelled.

Hanz dashed in front, his sword gleaming bright silver.

"A-Rank Skill – Sword Slash: Thousand Edge!"

He swung once — but fifteen slashes followed instantly, all cutting through the air at blinding speed.

Each strike left a deep wound on the Ogre's body, and one slash tore across its face, blinding its eyes completely.

The Ogre roared wildly, swinging its fists through the air, desperate to hit something.

But Hanz didn't stop — he kept attacking, his sword leaving afterimages of light.

Then someone behind shouted a spell.

"A-Rank Skill – Net!"

Golden threads of energy shot out, spreading across the ground and wrapping around the Ogre's legs and arms.

It froze in place, unable to move — completely trapped.

Samuel raised his sword. "Everyone! Attack now!"

All at once, more than twenty-five people charged.

Mages, swordsmen, archers — everyone unleashed everything they had left.

Blades cut deep, fireballs exploded, arrows pierced its flesh.

The Ogre screamed one last time, then collapsed — the ground shaking as it fell lifeless.

The battlefield went silent.

I dropped to the ground, exhausted.

My whole body ached, my breathing heavy.

Then the notifications appeared.
