Allison's POV
I swallowed nervously as I watched Prince Thomas walk closer to us. I stood up and chuckled awkwardly, "It's not what you think…"
"Don't fool me," he said, glancing straight at my tummy.
I sighed and nodded. "You're right… I'm pregnant. But please don't tell him. Not now. I'm not ready to face him… especially his punishment. He might keep me to give birth and then send me away after the baby turns one. I'm not ready for that. I don't deserve that. I still love myself."
Prince Thomas chuckled and looked at me. "He shouldn't know about this now." He shook his head. "He's now a crazy king everyone fears. He kills those who betray him like ants."
I held my breath. I expected that… "What about Elena… his queen?"
"Queen?" He laughed and shook his head. "Now I understand. You have no idea who Ethan really is. No wonder you fear my mom more than him. He's the one everyone is afraid to offend even Mother."
I blinked in confusion. "You mean…"
