Adding a card to his hand, Vampire Red Baron swiftly played another card: "Quick-Play Magic 'Inferno Reckless Summon'."
"When a monster with 1500 or less Attack Points is successfully Special Summoned to your field, you can Special Summon as many copies of it as possible from your deck."
Two cards popped out from his deck.
"According to this effect, Special Summon two 'Vampire's Familiar' from the deck."
[Vampire's Familiar, Attack Power 500]
Two new little bats flapped their wings and flew onto the field, landing side by side next to the first one.
"But 'Inferno Reckless Summon' has another effect," Red Baron glanced at Youyu, "Your opponent can also select one monster on their field and Special Summon cards with the same name."
Youyu's field clearly only has one 'Legendary Six Samurai - Shien'.
"Shien is a Synchro Monster," Youyu said, "I cannot Special Summon cards with the same name."
"Then in the graveyard, 'Vampire Retainer', activate effect," said Red Baron, "Send one Special Summoned 'Vampire's Familiar' from the field to the graveyard, and Special Summon itself from the graveyard."
As he spoke, one little bat had already disappeared from the field, replaced by the half-black, half-white retainer.
[Vampire Retainer, Attack Power 1200]
"Vampire Retainer, effect activated." Red Baron continued, "Upon successful Special Summon, pay 500 Life Points to add a 'Vampire' Magic Trap Card from the deck to the hand."
[Vampire Red Baron, LP 3500 → LP 3000]
"Add the Continuous Magic 'Vampire Kingdom' from the deck to the hand."
Then he raised his arm, and his heavy armor rubbed against itself to make a rustling sound.
"Then use the 'Vampire's Familiar' on the field as a tribute, Tribute Summon.
Vampire undead, Knight of Death, call forth my avatar—
—Vampire Red Baron, Summon!!"
As his words fell, a powerful dark aura suddenly burst forth from his entire body, a majestic black miasma erupted from him, separating and coalescing to one side, transforming into a galloping horse and a knight sitting atop it, parallel to his own self.
[Vampire Red Baron, Attack Power 2400]
"Finally made a personal appearance, huh." Youyu turned and glanced at the shadow trailing behind.
He knew Red Baron's effect; he could pay 1000 Life Points to swap monsters between each other's fields, quite a troublesome vampire.
If he swaps Shien, that would be problematic.
"Then open the Set Card," the trap next to Youyu flipped open, "Trap Card 'Six Style - Dual Wield'!"
The trap card flipped open, and on the card image was the Six Samurai warrior Nisashi wielding a photon double-blade.
"Six Style - Dual Wield, can only be activated when there is only one Attack Position 'Six Samurai' on your field," Youyu waved his hand, "Return up to two cards from the opponent's field to their owner's hand!
I return 'Vampire's Familiar' and 'Vampire Red Baron' to the hand!"
Golden streamlight ripples on the trap card, Shien's twin swords swing, and two sword lights hit the wing-flapping black familiar and the not-yet-stabile-standing Red Baron, causing them both to disperse from the field.
"Moreover, 'Vampire Familiar' when Special Summoned by its effect, must be banished from the game when leaving the field," Youyu said, "Thus, 'Vampire Familiar' does not return to the hand and is banished from the game directly."
Vampire Red Baron subtly moved his gaze, but just silently retrieved the avatar card that bounced back to him, not saying anything.
"Then activate the Magic Card 'Fusion Deployment' from the hand." Red Baron continued, "Reveal a Fusion Monster Card and Special Summon one Fusion Material of that monster from the deck.
The Fusion Monster I will reveal is this one."
He raised a heavily armored arm, holding a card at his fingertips.
"Reaper on the Nightmare." Red Baron said, "Special Summon the Fusion Material monster 'Spirit Reaper' from the deck."
A ghostly figure flickered, the purple-robed Spirit Reaper that looked like a vengeful spirit wielding a scythe floated onto the field.
[Spirit Reaper, Attack Power 300]
"Continuous Magic 'Vampire Kingdom'." Red Baron directly played this card also searched to the hand, "Pay 500 Life Points to perform an additional Normal Summon for a 'Vampire' monster."
[Vampire Red Baron, LP 3000 → LP 2500]
"Use 'Spirit Reaper' as a tribute, once again Tribute Summon!" Red Baron raised his voice, "The knight of the undead arrives once more! Come forth, my avatar—
—Vampire Red Baron!"
The sacrificed Reaper transformed into mist and disappeared, hoofbeats rang as the knight wielding a spiral lance rode forth on a steed, whose eyes seemed lit by ghostly fire.
[Vampire Red Baron, Attack Power 2400]
"Truly relentless..." Youyu muttered.
"Pay 1000 Life Points, activating my own effect."
[Vampire Red Baron, LP 2500 → LP 1500]
"Exchange control of one monster each from myself and the opponent's field." Red Baron spoke in a deep voice, "Swap the last remaining 'Vampire Retainer' with your 'Legendary Six Samurai - Shien.'"
Red Baron swung his lance again, as if splitting the blood mist before him in two. An unavoidable powerful force releases; the blood mist envelops the entire field, and when it disperses, Shien had already defected to the opponent's field, with blood-red eyes and a face filled with wickedness.
As for Youyu, only a weak and useless broken bat remained on the field...
"Indeed a surprise, but this ends now." Red Baron raised his arm, "The invader shall be vanquished under the great Red Baron's lance.
First, my avatar, Vampire Red Baron, attack 'Vampire Retainer.'
A swift charge, Baron rode his steed swiftly, lance like a whirlwind thrust, one strike pierced through the little bat.
[Youyu, LP 4000 → LP 2100]
"At this moment, 'Vampire Kingdom's effect," Red Baron said, "'Vampire' inflicts battle damage, transforming it into my Life Points."
[Vampire Red Baron, LP 1500 → LP 3400]
"It's over." Red Baron waved his hand, "Die at the hands of your own monster and fall into endless remorse.
'Legendary Six Samurai - Shien,' direct attack."
Whether due to complete control or having long held this intention, the moment these words were spoken, Shien eagerly charged out, sword light flickering like meteors, his form became a blurred shadow stretching forward with a relentless force aimed directly at Youyu.
A sword seemingly pierced through space, its light cold and lethal!
