Aria moved back, descended the stairs and walked through the old, eerie alley...
She took a cab to home from the taxi stand but through out the way the only thing she thought was -
' Should I open this book? Why did he gave me this? What is the history? Is this a good idea?'
Every time she thought...
her fear grew more and more.
Soon after some time, she reached her home but now the challenge was how to get inside?
She quietly jumped in through the fence and moved towards the guest room...
She opened the door slowly and luckily, the room was empty.
She quickly went inside and then went upstairs silently.
But the door of her room was locked from inside and she totally forgot it.
'Shit! Now what am I supposed to do? Should I take the risk to ask for the key to the maid?', Aria's thoughts kept on disturbing her.
She decided that instead of asking for the key she can climb down the wall through roof top.
Much safer way.
'Then I have to move silently...', Aria whispered.
She tip-toed to the roof top.
She opened the door and moved towards the other side.
Suddenly she heard a voice.
"Yes, it's not too late to mend the things.", someone laughed.
' Uncle! Why is he here? Who is with him?' , Aria trembled.
'Oh no! If he finds that I sneaked out of the house, maybe I will never return from Greece.'
Aria immediately sped up.
She jumped on the shelter and descended through the pipe.
Once she was on the balcony of her aunt's room.
She jumped out with the support of railing.
Now... She was hanging on the railing.
Aria realised she had to jump to the right to land on her room's balcony.
But the chances of this stunt to be safe was less than 30% .
'I can do it! I came till here not to go back and there is no way to go back!', Aria gathered all her courage.
She jumped, turned in the mid and perfectly landed on the railing of her balcony.
'Thank god! If I would have turned more, my end was too close!'
She opened the balcony and went inside the room.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
She immediately pulled out the notebook she had kept inside the chain of her jacket.
And slipped it inside her suitcase.
Aria ran towards the door and unlatched it.
"How are you Aria?", a heavy voice asked.
'Uncle! Why is he here! Did he find out that I went out to the alley?', Aria was too afraid to speak a word.
Sweat formed on her forehead.
"Are you okay?", her uncle inquired.
"Ye-Yes uncle, I am fine!", She stammered.
"Quite good then, hope you are ready to move out to a short trip to Greece?", he looked towards her and smiled.
But this was not a real, sweet smile.
But a cunning, wild smile.
Aria immediately sensed it,
"Uncle... don't worry. I have packed my suitcase!", she pointed towards the bed.
But too her bad luck...
She had not properly closed it in the panic and also forgot to properly keep the book.
Half cover of the book peaked out from one end.
Aria was doomed!
She had no idea what was coming.
"What's that? A new book?", her uncle moved inside.
Aria quickly stood in front of him and covered the door.
"Ohh! That, that's one of my book! School book!", she hesitated.
"But the design on the cover is too familiar, isn't it?". her uncle pushed her aside and moved forward
'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NOOOO! PLEASE!!! GOD HELP ME THIS ONCE!!!',
Aria shouted inside her mind.
"Honey! Come down, your friends are leaving!", Aunt's voice pierced through the silent and heavy atmosphere of the room.
Aria rushed forward, held her uncle's hand and pulled him...
"Uncle!!!! Your friends are leaving at least say them good night!", Aria protested.
"Fine! Fine! Why are you so excited!", he asked as he stepped out.
"Gooo fast!", she pushed him out and closed the door as fast as she could.
'Now, what should I do?
This book has answers to my questions but...
Is it really true? I never questioned the Sinclair's but today without telling them...should I do it?', Aria kept on questioning herself.
She was afraid...
But still not convinced.
And she has to go forward
