[Martial Arts Archive]
—An ancient library with all the culmination of the Martial Artists' trials and errors along the journey to the Martial Dao. Loaded with secrets, mysterious techniques, and forgotten historical annals dedicated to the path of the greatest Martial Arts.
[Do you wish to go in?]
Yeah...
Within his consciousness, Yoichi was transported into a white and wide dimension as if it were a blank canvas.
Then, the magical scenario happened.
In the white room, the dazzling and flickering luminosity occurred, fusing with multiple radiant glows. After that, the incandescent rays were integrated and brought out numerous things in a magical, otherworldly fashion.
Soon, the tattered covers of the books emerged, forming an esoteric figure of texts and symbols on the covers. Subsequently, the gleaming dayspring incorporated and then filled the numerous books with glowing inscriptions, containing numerous inscriptions as well as context in each book.
The furled and scattered scrolls, the long-standing shelves along the ancient Korean architecture then unhurriedly happened in sequence.
As the realization of the structure was accomplished, Yoichi felt the vicissitudes of life along with its disheveled outlook, deeply striking the soul and aesthetic of the ancient facility, gradually shattered by the cruel sands of time and decay.
"What a mess! This might take a long time to categorize each manual back to its place!"
Therefore, Yoichi took his time to fix and organize all of the scattered manuals as well as the chaotic scene.
[Habuk-Peng's Saber Domination]
—One of the unparalleled saber techniques with undying ferocity! Thanks to the rigorous trials and errors, the Habuk Peng of Hebei realized their heavy and thick saber as a ferocious monster!
[Eligible Successor: None]
"Oh? So there's a system evaluation?!"
Yoichi's face lit up with excitement and adrenaline rushed throughout his body after taking a manual with a sanguine saber symbol on its cover.
This system remained lifeless up until now, giving him a chance to be grateful for the system once more.
[Beggar Sect's Eighteen Dragons Subduing Palms]
—[Eligible Successor: None]
[Emei's Twelve Movements]
—[Eligible Successor: None]
[Duan's Six Meridian Swordplay]
—[Eligible Successor: Hatake Sakumo]
"Finally, a suitable candidate... Still, I don't have associations with the future White Fang... Instead, I'll leave it here in case of a possible bond."
After storing the manual in his pouch, Yoichi then started once more to organize the techniques inside the dilapidated room.
[Mahavairocana Mantra]
—[Eligible Successor: Jiraiya]
[Moon Swallowing Snake Manual]
—[Eligible Successor: Orochimaru]
[Dragon-Elephant Prajna Scroll]
—[Eligible Successor: Tsunade]
"Wait a minute... Is this too much of a coincidence or what?" Looking at the books and scrolls, Yoichi assessed the functional conditions of the manuals.
It was completely clean and no damage whatsoever! What the hell?!
Yoichi thought as the manuals were then stored in his pouch, still contemplating for a while before he shook his head. In his mind, these conclusions remained undefined so he cleansed his mind from probing too much into the unknown abyss.
There's truly something wrong but I can't prove it. Haaah, that can wait.
Sighing in himself, Yoichi then took over the cleaning and organizing of the manuals in 30 minutes until he came across another room besides the Archive Room.
In the unidentified room, there was a huge stone with a deep palm mark in the center, suffusing the atmosphere with its chilling and suffocating intent.
"Is this kinda like the stone in Nano Machine? Instead of Sword Demon, it's the Palm Demon or something?"
Sharingan!
Along with Sharingan and his Detective at Work passive, Yoichi soon slightly envisioned the overall background with intricate details.
Then, a burly man with a blurred face smashed the stable stone in one attack which made Yoichi's pupils dilate in shock and apprehension.
"What the fuck?! No utilization of Qi Blood at all!!! This should be another type of force within the body... Perhaps it might be the Martial Arts Intent!'
With his former knowledge of Martial Arts novels, Intents were one of the most sought-after powers along with cultivation. These obscure yet powerful energies stemmed from the comprehension, arduous training, and dedication toward the Martial Dao.
In other words, the communion between man and nature.
In gaming terms, it was the unstoppable true damage.
Although what he saw was something out of this world, Yoichi realized that it might be his path to improve or develop his own technique due to the creeping and harmful intent applied within the huge stone in front of him.
As the goosebumps and cold sweat started to form in his entire body, Yoichi immediately rushed out.
With a weak physique, it was highly impossible to even perceive such antagonistic intent along with his meager skills and comprehension of Martial Arts as a whole.
"I'll definitely surpass you! But not in my current state..."
In a fiery determination, Yoichi waved his hand, and with a thought in his mind, he came back to reality. Back in the original spot, Yoichi sighed and materialized another Prismatic Ticket in his hand, fiddling with the ticket.
I need more passive skills!
「Prismatic Roulette」
[Whetstone]
[Soul Eater]
[Wisdom of Ages]
[...]
In a usual scene, Yoichi came within the consciousness and he was confronted by the luminosity of the otherworldly abilities and invaluable items.
[Drawing...]
[Congratulations on winning (Indomitable Aura)!]
"Aura?! What does that mean?" With a curiosity in mind, Yoichi then clicked on the tooltip in his panel prompt.
[Indomitable Aura](Prismatic)
—A certain kind of aura starts to form on your body. Every time you defeat an enemy, this aura will accumulate by one layer.
[Defeated opponents: 3]
Raising his eyebrow, he took his time to contemplate the newest addition to his vague passive skill. For 5 minutes, Yoichi crossed his arms amidst the windy forest behind his settlement.
"Gorou, Kazuyori, and Masaru only gave me some sense of fighting spirit... So no names were unable to get into my defeated lists..." Yoichi mumbled as he cupped his chin with one hand, gradually realizing the effect of the latest passive skill.
Whilst the description of the passive was truly ambiguous, it was a stackable type of passive and one of the best paths under the power boost list.
It was a type of passive suppression, similar to how Conqueror's Haki works in One Piece. Conqueror's Haki allows the user to overpower the will of others, inducing weaker-spirited individuals to lose consciousness.
These types of suppression skills were among the best in terms of group combat or warfare, easily disabling the wills of other people.
Instead of being inherited or unlocked by someone who has the qualities of a king, his passive ability required defeating any powerful shinobi and could be stacked indefinitely.
A great addition to his arsenal!
"Hahaha! This is so great!"
Soon, the faint shimmering of the aura enveloped him for a while until it ultimately vanished, losing the ferocious and supernatural force.
Due to a lack of sufficient stacks within his Indomitable Aura, it appeared for a second and faded away like a carefree breeze. Therefore, he concluded the day as a huge success among his achievements.
"Haaaahh... I'm completely tired."
In a sighing gesture, Yoichi returned to the house, cleaned up, and fell asleep in an instant with his mouth slightly curled up, feeling the good outcome of his diligent efforts.
...
...
...
Konoha, at sunrise.
"Hideaki, can you tell me why the hell we didn't take action?!" one of the shinobi angrily glared at his teammate, simmering with fiery wrath in his eyes.
"Shinobi always has the patience, all the time. This is Konoha, not Amegakure. Get your facts straight."
In a serious voice, Hideaki replied with his frigid face, looking at his companion as if he were staring at a foolish and idiotic pig.
After one month, Kouji and Motoyasu's group snuck into the Konoha with an assassinating mission regarding the traitorous bastard, Uchiha Yoichi.
At this point, they were simply waiting for the fish to catch the bait since the brat had remained cautious earlier in the Uchiha District, deeming the opportunity as another failed attempt.
In any village, even if it's small or large, a punishment for betraying the code was death. Besides that, Yoichi appeared to be an exceptional genius who managed to successfully deceive even the higher-ups of Amegakure, one of the very feats that no other child could accomplish.
"Let's retreat... Motoyasu-sama might be waiting for our intel about this traitor." Once Hideaki made a decision, the 4 shinobi soon vanished along with the dusk including him, who merely looked at the sunrise.
What they didn't realize was that the higher-ups of Konoha and the ANBU had proceeded with the manhunt in their heads, merely waiting for a spark or a clue to resurface within the murky waters.
