After waking up, Ryoken's line of sight was blocked by two temples, knowing what he woke up to, he closed his eyes and pretended to sleep again.
"You know that I can feel you're awake right?" Medea said, an amused smile adorning her face.
Seeing Ryoken not answering her made her smile grow bigger. She leaned down to get close to his ear before teasing him about it "Do you find it embarrassing, Ryo?"
"No..?"
"Then did you sleep well?"
"Yes I did. Thanks." He muttered whilst opening his eyes and looking at her.
"Ehem. I would appreciate it if you two end this romcom now. there's a child watching." Furious Dragon said, with the child in question being Magik.
"Right." Ryoken got up albeit a bit reluctantly. There was no point in lying to himself, he did enjoy the lap pillow she gave him.
Doing a few light stretches to release the soreness he felt in his, he decided to check the new system messages.
[Host has successfully absorbed Supreme King Zarc's power.]
[Host is now considered an incarnation of Zarc, directly linking them to the plot of this verse.]
[Due to being connected to the plot, Host has gained this world's plot armour, the card printing skill.]
The system was basically telling him that if this was canon, he would be considered one of the main characters now.
'Plot armour huh... does that mean if I scream daddy mahoraga, he will appear and save my ass whenever I'm facing a strong opponent?'
Jokes aside, Card printing was something he looked forward to. Whilst he did in a way print 2 new cards during the duel against Zarc, there weren't any involvement of him in it.
Medea had grown as a spirit so he gained her new form through her efforts not his own. Furious Dragon also was due to the changes that system made it go through, which once again meant he didn't do anything for it.
[Due to host replacing Yuri, Zarc's fusion dimension counterpart, they will be given 1 copy of Starving Venom Fusion Dragon.]
A free op fusion monster? he couldn't be more than satisfied. But when he tried to claim it, he was met with a new message.
[Error, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's spirit has already bonded with Yuri.]
"...So no rewards?"

Ryoken stared at the screen with a confused face, thinking he might have bullied the system a bit too much recently that it had become sentient.
"Can't I get something else as compensation?"
[Answer: No.]
"Please?"

[Congratulations you have gained Starving Venom Fusion Dragon. The card doesn't have any spirit and will not develop one either.]
Ryoken smiled in triumph, happy to have gotten something from the system.
One might say that he could have gotten one simply by building it in the system. System originally allowed him to make any card he wanted as long as he had enough points regarding the card's rarity.
But an interesting thing he found out about was that there were certain cards and archetypes that he couldn't craft their cards.
One for example was the cards in each canon character's deck. Yes, he couldn't make any odd-eyes cards that Yuya used, nor could he craft a Raidraptor deck because it belonged to shun.
Although he could make cards that weren't used by them in canon. For example he could craft Raidraptor - Rising Rebellion Falcon because Shun Didn't have it in canon.
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon was also one of those cards, that's why he was happy he had gained it this way.
With his ability to alter and change cards' effects and descriptions, he could change starving venom to a new card that would suit him and be different from Yuri's.
'A Starving Chaos Fusion Dragon sounds nice.'
Looking at his watch and now noticing how dark it had gotten, he remembered that he was supposed to be in Zane's room, meaning by now Zane would be concerned about him.
Or that's what he thought, but when he arrived and entered the Blue dorm, he saw Zane sitting in the lobby, reading a book calmly.
Hearing the footsteps, Zane looked up, a faint smile on his lips "Done with causing whatever problems you planned?"
It seemed that Zane thought Ryoken was busy trolling people with his random decks. Ryoken decided to go along with it "Yeah I had my share of fun."
"The same can't be said about your opponents..." Zane muttered before throwing a key at him "It's my rooms key. Made a spare one for you, so feel free to come and leave whenever you want till we get our own dorm."
"Thanks. By the way, Sheppard Sensei gave me this deck."
Ryoken took out the deck Sheppard had given him and gave it to Zane to inspect it.
Zane went through the cards, looking at them carefully to get the hang of it "Cyberdark huh? Needs a few dragon cards to complete it. I can get some for you if you want." He offered.
"Thanks, but I actually wanted to give this deck to you. I think if you add it to your current Cyber Dragon deck and master it, you'll reach a new level."
"I can't accept it like this. Sensei gave it to you, it's a token of his affection and acknowledgement."
Seeing that Zane wouldn't be convinced by words, Ryoken sighed and decided to settle it how normal people do, through a duel.
"How about this then, we have a rematch. I use this deck and you use your Cyber Dragon deck. If you win, sure I'll keep the deck. But if I win you have to accept it."
Ryoken waited a few seconds before Zane gave him a reply "Sure. This would be a good chance to test my new card too."
'Eh? He printed new cards?'
'Ref do something everyone is printing whatever they want except me!'
Sighing from tiredness, Ryoken followed Zane to the outside to duel.

Amd that's it for this chapter, really didn't have anything in mind for now, so decided to have rematch with Zane till I i get more time on hand to cook again. Hope you guys understand and dont mind chapters like this.
