(VALENTINO'S POV)
"Hey, you!"
I call out to the server coming down the hall.
She slows down at first, then stops completely to look around and see if maybe I'm talking to someone else.
When her eyes finally land on mine, she points to herself.
"Me?"
"Yes, you."
I close the distance between us in three long strides.
"Have you seen a woman about this tall?" I gesture with my hand. "Brown hair. Bangs. Brown eyes. She's wearing a white gown with a thigh-high slit."
Her brows pull together as she thinks. For a second, I swear I see a look of recognition on her face.
She shakes her head. "No, sir. I'm not sure I've seen anyone like that."
I let out a frustrated sigh and plant my hands on my hips, pacing back and forth like a caged animal.
Fuck.
I've been walking around this entire goddamn mansion for the past fifteen minutes, checking every hallway, every lounge. Every balcony I can access without causing a scene.
Where the hell could she possibly be?
"Sir?"
