Chapter 105 - Chapter 104: Forced Suppression

Inside the underground base.

Victor's explosive fighting style had quickly killed two CP0 members, and the remaining one was also grabbed and beaten. His death was only a matter of time.

The scene terrified the two CP0 members fighting Enel.

This was brutal—wasn't Victor's strongest power supposed to be thunder?! Why did his physical skills feel so overwhelming?

Originally, the two CP0 members could handle Enel as long as he didn't release high-intensity electric current. But after witnessing their comrades' fate, they became increasingly passive.

Be electrocuted to death by thunder—or beaten to death by Victor.

This was not how a dignified CP0 should die.

Desperate, the two CP0 members planned to use the Primeval Stones. Over a dozen had been prepared, each said to possess power comparable to ancient weapons.

The stones were capable of destroying the Island of Ruins completely, erasing it from the sea just like O'Hara had been destroyed by the Demon Killing Order.

Of course, anyone on the island would vanish along with it. This was the World Government's backup plan if CP0 and Aokiji failed to stop Victor.

At this moment, except for the two CP0 members fighting Enel—each holding a Primeval Stone—the other stones had been deployed on the outskirts of the Island of Ruins. Once it was confirmed that Aokiji and the 20 CP0 members could not deal with Victor, the stones would be activated without hesitation.

Aokiji, commissioned by the World Government, was completely unaware of the Power Stones' deployment.

Pong!

With a loud bang, Victor broke through the enemy's armed color domination. The CP0 members who couldn't fight back faced imminent death.

The two fighting Enel had no choice. Once Victor freed his hands, they wouldn't even have the chance to die together.

One fearless CP0 member rushed at Enel to protect his companions. Though struck by lightning, he managed to entangle Enel and buy time.

"Be loyal to God!"

The other CP0 member holding a purple stone shouted, triggering the Primeval Stone. The underground relic would be completely destroyed, the rock layer above shattered, and seawater would pour in. Even if Victor survived, he would be submerged again.

Robin was the first to notice.

"That's... the Primeval Stone!"

A scholar with knowledge of O'Hara's remnants, she understood the stone's destructive capacity. The bomb could annihilate the entire underground base and trigger a massive earthquake.

"Go!"

Robin's face was pale with fear. Could the last of O'Hara's archaeologists suffer the same fate and be wiped out by the World Government?

Using her Hana-Hana no Mi, she tried to construct a giant tree to withstand the explosion and buy time for the archaeologists.

But before she could act, a small figure leapt out—Neil!

The little girl caught the falling Primeval Stone in her tiny hands. She curled up, holding it close, trembling. She thought that if she died, no one else would.

Neil had no talent for archaeology, only cooking. But she valued the archaeologists' lives above her own, willing to sacrifice herself to protect them.

Her thoughts, however, didn't account for the devil fruit she had found earlier, now still out of Victor's reach.

"Neil!!!"

Jiuxiang cried out, helpless as purple light radiated from her daughter's body.

"Neil! You promised to cook for me! You can't die here!"

Victor's heart clenched. He rushed over, took Neil, and lifted the Primeval Stone from her. Using intense electric current, he suppressed the stone's explosive energy.

The Primeval Stone's power was terrifying—Victor felt as if he held a nuclear bomb. Veins bulged on his forehead as he mobilized thunder and Armament Haki, struggling to restrain it. The difficulty exceeded any fight with an admiral-level opponent.

"Use the fastest speed to rescue these people!"

He threw Neil to Enel, who caught her safely. Enel's expression showed worry as he turned into lightning and dashed off.

"Victor!!"

"Hurry! Go!"

Robin, having helped the archaeologists escape, returned and met Victor's gaze. Her beautiful eyes were misty. She didn't speak, but Victor was concerned—was she about to risk herself?

Big Sister Robin, this can't happen!

"Survive. If you die, your wife will belong to someone else."

Robin gave Victor a long, trusting look, then turned and left quickly. She believed in him—how could a man who could restrain the Primeval Stone be killed by it?

"As expected of you!"

Victor's gaze followed her graceful back. Robin's strength and trust filled him with energy. Thinking of Hancock waiting for him on Amazon Lily, his resolve strengthened.

Suppressing the Primeval Stone, Victor moved toward the last CP0 member, who had just thrown the stone, ready to face him.
