Upon getting to the next town and at least for now the whole marriage question could be put out of his mind, Kurt decided it was time to really test his new sword. And had decided to go find Hank, Tom, and Joe. Kurt really needed to let some steam out so if there was anything that needed clearing out, he wanted to volunteer for the job. There was usually something coming and going, nothing that was much of a threat to the whole, but it shouldn't be left alone and get out of control.
"Well we can go boar hunting," suggested Tom.
"Not really a sword thing," said Hank.
"There is that pack of hi ra ki, hiding somewhere," said Joe, "we could go looking for it."
"So there is really nothing the whole place is at peace, lame," said Kurt.
"Well the river is really not a river yet, dries up quickly down the line still, so it will get worse eventually and require more maintenance," said Joe, "most of the animals are small and quick, more predators will come eventually."
