The amber glow from the overhead lights illuminated his sculpted features, throwing mysterious shadows across his piercing gaze.
His dark eyebrows arched over a straight nose, and his face possessed an ethereal coldness that seemed almost otherworldly.
He looked like he had stepped directly from the pages of a romance novel.
His expression shifted, growing darker as his eyes fixed on me with suspicion before turning that same icy stare toward Cobb.
"Gather your belongings and follow me." Soren's voice remained steady, but underneath lay a razor-sharp authority that brooked no argument.
Cobb moved closer to Soren, pulling Ivana with him, clearly uncomfortable under his uncle's scrutiny.
"Not her," Soren's words sliced through the tension, his tone flat and final.
