When the atmosphere was back to normal again, Jack composed himself and looked towards Asta. The poor kid didn't have a grimoire but Jack knew better. His time will come when nobody expected.
Meanwhile, Asta was on one knee in a proposal style, with his arms out in front of him, waiting for his turn to shine.
'If Yuno and Jack had a fancy light that brought them their grimoires, then so can I,' thought Asta.
He waited… and waited, but nothing came. He was showing true signs of despair.
The gathered nobles and commoners started laughing at him like he was an insect.
That all changed when Jack and Yuno released their magical aura. It made everyone feel like they were slowly being frozen and suffocated at the same time.
The master of the grimoire tower decided to step in and calm things down before things got out of hand.
"ENOUGH. I would like you all to know and keep in mind that most of our Wizard Kings did not have magic. They are the ones who made our kingdom one of the strongest. Leave Asta alone."
Hearing that information seemed to have shocked everyone. Even the Noble families. They never really paid attention to the history of the Clover Kingdom. But now they certainly will.
