The walk home was my favorite part of my messed up day the wind wiped my hair around reminding me that storm was closer than we expected but I didn't care the wind felt good on my skin it felt like the world was breathing me back to life this last few years has been torture first watching my dad die right in front of my eyes and now watching my mother I don't Remember the last time I acutely felt like i could breathe like I could smile without it feeling like I was betraying the two people in this world who has loved me the most so the wind made me feel like i could breathe like someone was sending the wind to help me breath maybe it was my father maybe it was the goddess that my dad always prayed to maybe it was just something the universe knew i needed even for a second as I made it back home I held on to the door Nobe giving myself a few more seconds to breath before I reentered my hell. once I was back in the house I went from room to room I was told by mother that I needed to prepare four rooms that we would have four visitors for a week so I went from room to room preparing them for the arriving strangers I couldn't understand in the state she was in why she would want these strange people in our home that I haven't ever met but she said they are friends of hers and dads so I guess it makes he feel better having them near and ill do anything if it makes her feel better as I looked up at the clock in the last room it said five a clock i looked in horror I have to hurry I think to myself I have to prepare the meal as i rush out the room towards the kitchen and that's when I hear it the first boom of thunder the storm has begun and the guest haven't arrived they will be soaked I thinking of all the towels we have when I hear a knock on the door I slowly walk over to the door when a smell hits me a smell that makes my mouth water it smells like fresh bread and strawberry jam I slowly open the door and what I saw was defiantly not what I expected.
