Chapter 12 - Chapter 11

Akira watched the military officers excuse themselves, then stepped back into the expanded penthouse suite where Yukari and Kurumi waited.

Yukari immediately confronted him. "Why the lie, Akira? You told those men your ability was time-accelerated farming. You have the ability to summon things, not farm them." She gave him a pointed look. "Explain yourself, so Kurumi can understand your thought process."

Akira gave a tired sigh and explained his rationale, which had formed instantly the moment he saw the officers at the door:

"It wasn't a lie of malice; it was a lie of control," Akira stated. "My real power—summoning—is too dangerous to reveal. It would mark me as a threat, not an ally, and they'd try to capture or control me."

He then focused on the unique advantage his {Boundary Eyes} provided:

"When I told the officer my fabricated ability, I didn't just watch his face; I could see through their immediate intentions. What I saw wasn't the boundary of greed or exploitation, but the boundary of raw, desperate hope. Their primary concern is national stability."

Akira concluded: "By offering them a plausible, high-utility lie, I achieved two things: I secured a safe, legitimate cover for my future wealth generation, and I created a high-demand product that the military will prioritize protecting. The deal isn't based on deception; it's based on their need and my ability to see and exploit that need."

Kurumi pressed Akira on the crucial boundary of trust, asking, "How do you know they won't exploit you? They're offering confidentiality, but they still have authority."

Akira, recalling the insights gained from his {Boundary Eyes} and his understanding of real-world power structures, offered a simple, pragmatic defense of his choice:

"Because they're Military, not Police," Akira explained. "Unlike the Police, who often use their authority on low-level crimes or civilians to gain leverage for their personal records or minor corruption, the Military's focus is on the existential threat. They won't use their authority to exploit someone who is demonstrably able to solving a national crisis—the food supply—which is far more critical to their mission."

He added, "Exploiting me now would risk the food source, which would sabotage their larger mission to stabilize the nation. They are driven by necessity and results, not personal gain from a minor contract."

Satisfied with the logic, Akira turned his attention back to the massive task at hand. He walked to the edge of the expanded penthouse and looked down into the Domain at the newly stabilized island.

Since the Domain itself was an infinite reality created by Yukari, there was no definite top, bottom, left, or right, even with the island set at its core. Akira simply focused on the island's landscape and decided to descend by gliding.

He immediately saw a large, distinct patch of land that looked unmistakably like a prepared farm—tilled, sectioned, and ready for planting. Next to it was a naturally formed reservoir.

The island was truly a marvel of convenience. It didn't just provide a resort; it provided the infrastructure necessary to fulfill the very contract he had just made with the military. The farm plot and its adjacent reservoir were perfectly positioned to be his new food-production place.

Yukari and Kurumi glided down to join Akira on the fertile patch of farmland.

"Well, what a convenient thing," Yukari chimed, observing the perfectly tilled land and the nearby reservoir. "It looks like the island had some useful surprises built into it."

Akira and Kurumi merely nodded, having long accepted the chaotic utility of Akira summoned assets. It certainly explained how the island contained infrastructure not listed in the original gacha description.

Kurumi then got straight to the point, her eyes focusing on the vast, dreaming population of the domain. "The most important thing now is that we need workforce, and we already have it." She looked at the other side of the domain, clearly stating their intention to utilize that 'useless' lot of girls for some work.

Akira confirmed her pragmatic assessment with a smile. "It'll be done. I, too, didn't need this lot of people. My heart won't, and my body certainly can't," he stated, reiterating his criteria. "I will only awaken those that fall into specific categories: the ones I'm familiar with, the ones I loved—like you, Kurumi—the ones whose ability can directly help our current mission, and those who ended in tragedy in their original world."

Kurumi's face changed slightly at being explicitly called out as one of the women he "loved," but she quickly suppressed the blush.

Akira, however, didn't wait for a reply. He was already moving, prioritizing the plan. He stepped out of the domain and back into the expanded penthouse. His first task was to secure the long-term assets.

His goal was clear: He would start his research immediately on the girls that were unfamiliar to him but possessed an ability that would help them for the long term. He needed to filter the infinite population for the few with essential skills, transforming them from 'liabilities' into 'core personnel'.

Akira settled down at the table, laptop open, ready to use the restored internet access and his {Boundary Eyes} to analyze his vast, sleeping harem for specific, non-combat utility skills.

Akira didn't waste time on he immediately started the most vital resource assessment. He focused his search on farming-themed series, finding one prominent title known for its extensive (and harem-based) village construction.

He paused just long enough to offer a silent apology. "I'm sorry, Chief," he murmured, giving a nod to the original MC who built that chaotic village, before getting to work.

He began typing the names of characters he intended to "contract" from that series, identifying them by their core utility to his master plan:

Akira established his initial, high-utility personnel list, categorized by their primary function for the island base:

These individuals offer essential skills for transforming the prepared farmland into a high-yield, time-accelerated powerhouse:

• Rurushi and Flora: Chosen for their high knowledge of magical flora and extensive experience in cultivating diverse plant life within their original village.

• Ria and Rarasha: Along with the other High Elves that followed them into their original setting, they are the ideal agricultural workforce, possessing long lifespans, patience, and innate skill in farming techniques suitable for both normal and magical crops.

• Tia, Kuudel, Gran Maria, and Corone: Their various angelic abilities and inherent combat capabilities make them a perfect, coordinated security and scouting force to patrol Akira Immediet surrounding.

• Ann and Her Oni Maid Force: Chosen for their formidable organizational skills and physical strength. They will be the core team responsible for managing the entire castle-resort complex, handling domestic logistics, security protocols, and general upkeep.

• Fraurem: Selected because she's "pretty enough," but more practically for her proven capabilities in logistical organization and political management within her home series.

Akira then moved on to compiling a roster of specialized maids to round out the castle staff, setting this as a secondary priority for later summoning after the primary farm workers were established:

• Royal Navy Maid Order: A massive group of maids that provide exceptional domestic, security, and maintenance skills on an industrial scale.

• Izayoi Sakuya: The super maid from Yukari's own world, chosen specifically for her time manipulation ability, which could be invaluable for managing resources, accelerating construction, or simply making her the most efficient house cleaner in the multiverse.

• An Wilhelmina: A highly capable combatant and efficient support staff member, offering both protection and administrative skills.

Akira decided to pause the maid search there. The immediate priority was securing the food supply. His next action would be to awaken the High Elves and the Vampire Duo to begin planting the food seeds the military would soon deliver.

Akira set the laptop down, his immediate research complete. He stood on the island in the Infinite Domain. With a single command, he mentally spoke the names of the core personnel he had selected:

"Rurushi, Flora, Tia, Kuudel, Gran Maria, Corone, Ann, Fraurem, Ria, Rarasha, and your respective entourages: Awaken."

Within the Domain, the selected girls instantly snapped from their lucid dream state into full consciousness on the grand plaza of the Castle-Resort. Their eyes, though open, were initially glazed over as the raw, unfiltcollapseered information of Akira's real world was forcibly crammed into their minds.

A wave of temporal vertigo hit them, leaving them frozen a bit before they fully processed the impossible reality.

As they stabilized, they turned to look at Akira, who had just stepped onto the plaza with Yukari and Kurumi. They greeted him with near-identical wry smiles, a mix of respect for his power and slight horror at his true identity.

Akira wasted no time, immediately laying out the pragmatic reason he had "kidnapped" them: to staff a dimension-spanning food production facility and security force.

The response was immediate and characteristic:

Ria, Rarasha, and the High Elves: They converged slightly, speaking in low, conspiratorial voices. They began plotting to acquire Akira's genes by his will or by force, now viewing him as a crucial (even perverted) resource for their race's survival.

Ann and Her Oni Maids: Ignoring the philosophical crisis, they moved to the castle entrance, already assessing the castle's logistical and security needs. They swiftly determined their workforce would need to be supplemented to manage a resort of that size.

Rurushi and Flora: They began sniffing the air, immediately captivated by the scent of both normal and magical flora, their focus entirely on botany.

The Angels: They were itching to fly, their attention caught by the infinite expanse of the Domain.

Fraurem: The only one who remained still, her expression thoughtful, listening intently to every word Akira said.

Yukari observed the scene with an amused smile, entertained by the immediate disruption. Kurumi regarded the newcomers with a deadpan look, clearly unimpressed by the fresh batch of chaotic personnel.

Akira, ignoring the low-voiced plotting and the general lack of focus, issued his first, non-negotiable set of commands:

Ria and her {Ri Entourage} were assigned to harvest all existing fruit (both normal and magical) on the island and to divide the based on the species.

Rarasha and her {Ra Entourage} were tasked with preparing and sectioning the field for the incoming variety of staple crop and vegetable seeds.

Rurushi and Flora were ordered to do what they do best—to conduct a full inventory and assessment of all existing magical flora and map the island's soil composition.

Ann and her Oni Maids were commanded to start preparing the private rooms in the castle immediately, as Akira warned, "There'll be a lot more people coming in."

The Angels and Fraurem were instructed to stand by for their first assignments—security and initial resource tracking, respectively.

The grand operation had officially begun.
