Elara felt very tired after all the work she did throughout the day. So she decided to go to the cafe. She went there and sat in the corner facing the window. She got her coffee and started sipping it. "It is really good", she remarked, "..no wonder why students ome here so much. It instantly made me energised."
She enjoyed her coffee, half listening to the sounds around her - the clinking of cups, low chatter and music.
At a nearby table, two strangers were talking in low voices. One of them mentioned the name "Silas Rowan". Her mind then immediately snapped to the quite boy who kept leaving notes in her shp's counter. She didn't know why but the name made something click- quitely, inwardly.
Her mind immediately filled with thoughts from the past moments about the silent boy- him entering her shop for the very first time, the note he gave instead of money, his beautiful handwriting, their eyes meeting, and most importantly, how he leaves everytime before any one gets a chance to speak to him. She wondered if she could ever approach and talk to him and also what would be his reaction. She thought if he will even wantt that.
She took her wallet out of the pocket of her dress to pay when she suddenly noticed a familiar thing fall. Then she bowed to take it up. She paid and went out of the cafe.
She opened the folded paper and smiled. It was the same note he gave her that said "Keep Flying!" She sighed a deep breath.
It was as if her heart felt so light after seeing that. She continued walking towards her home.
In her way, she suddenly recalled what she heard in the cafe. "The name, it was so obsessive.", she thought, ".. I feel like
I've heard this name somewhere or maybe I've saw this person, but I can't remember it properly." She whispers his name - Silas Rowan - just to see how it feels in the air.
She folded the silent man's note and tucked it in the pocket. then she murmured, "Some names feel like secrets, even when spoken aloud."
