Blanche's POV
I was the last one back to the Callum Mansion. Walking into the hall, I spotted Quinton and Amber sitting together on the couch, obviously waiting for me.
I pulled back slightly and called out softly, "Quinton, Amber."
Quinton spun around and fixed me with a sharp look. "Get over here. We need to talk." His voice had that edge that meant trouble.
Quinton had always intimidated me, even though I knew he actually cared.
I crossed over and stopped beside the coffee table.
Amber started to gesture for me to sit, but Quinton cut in first. "So what's the deal with this divorce? Still dragging on?"
I shook my head. "I'm waiting for Zain to sign."
Quinton's brow creased. "Is he refusing to sign, or is this about money?"
I honestly had no clue why Zain kept stalling. "I don't know. He hasn't said anything about it."
Quinton's expression went cold, his voice cutting. "If you've decided to divorce, then quit wasting time."
