The seas around Hachinosu the Pirate Island were thick with fog and menace.
Once a nameless rock in the New World, it had become a haven for outlaws, a nest for monsters.
And now, it was home to the most feared crew on the seas:
The Rocks Pirates
Beneath the island's jagged cliffs, a network of ancient caverns served as the Rocks Pirates' stronghold.
Firelight flickered across walls etched with maps, stolen gold, and weapons from fallen foes.
At the heart of the chaos, Rocks D. Xebec sat on a throne carved from black coral, his grin wicked and wild.
Beside him stood Ada Wong, the Crimson Shadow, silent and calculating, her red eyes always alert.
Rocks' laughter shook the hall. "Kaido! If you're going to drink, drink like a pirate, not a child!"
Across the room, Kaido crushed a barrel with one hand and downed its contents in a single gulp, roaring with triumph. Linlin bellowed with laughter, while Whitebeard smirked quietly from his corner.
Ada watched the madness unfold, unamused but not surprised. "Another fight will break out in ten seconds," she murmured.
Rocks grinned. "Let 'em fight. It's what keeps 'em alive."
Ada sighed faintly. "So long as they don't destroy the fortress again."
Above the caverns, the surface of Hachinosu pulsed with life — bars, gambling dens, and battle rings filled every street.
And presiding over it all was a single woman whispered with reverence and desire:
Shakuyaku — "Shakky," the most beautiful woman in the world.
Her tavern stood untouched by chaos. No one dared fight there. Not even Rocks. She had a reputation — beautiful, sharp, and utterly unshaken by monsters.
The day began with an unusual silence. The raucous chatter fell away as a golden ship bearing the insignia of a smiling skull approached the harbor.
The Roger Pirates had arrived.
Gol D. Roger stood proudly at the bow, cloak fluttering. Behind him, Rayleigh, Gaban, and a few other early members leaned over the rails, eyeing the notorious pirate island with amusement.
"So this is Hachinosu," Rayleigh said, smirking. "Smells worse than I imagined."
Roger grinned. "That's the smell of freedom, Rayleigh. Or maybe just too much rum."
As they docked, Roger's eyes sparkled. He'd come not for a fight, but to meet someone — a woman said to be more cunning than any pirate alive.
Rayleigh chuckled but stayed leaned against the mast, polishing his blade.
"You sure about this, Roger? We're walking into the lion's den. The Rocks Pirates own this place."
Roger laughed. "Then maybe the lion and I will share a drink."
Rayleigh sighed. "You go ahead. I'll keep the ship ready—just in case the lion bites."
Roger winked. "That's why I trust you, Rayleigh."
And with that, Roger stepped onto the docks — alone but fearless.
By the time Roger reached the main street, every eye was on him.
Pirates paused mid-fight. The music stopped.
From the crowd, a familiar voice boomed. "What's a man like you doing here, Roger?"
Whitebeard emerged from a tavern doorway, towering over everyone.
Behind him came Kaido, cracking his knuckles, and Linlin, her laughter echoing through the square.
Roger only smiled. "Sightseeing. Thought I'd visit the great Rocks Pirates' nest."
Before things could turn bloody, a calm, cutting voice interrupted.
"Enough."
The pirates parted as Ada Wong approached, coat fluttering lightly. Her pistols gleamed, and her crimson eyes were unreadable.
"You're far from home, Gol D. Roger," she said coolly.
Roger grinned. "And you must be Ada Wong. Rocks' infamous Crimson Shadow."
She tilted her head slightly. "You walk into a lion's den smiling. Either you're brave… or stupid."
"Can't it be both?" Roger said, still smiling.
Her lips curved faintly — not quite a smile, not quite disapproval. "Follow me. The captain's waiting."
Inside Shakky's bar, the air was dense with smoke and tension.
Rocks sat at one table, Roger at another, their auras crackling like thunderclouds.
Between them, Shakky poured drinks, calm and collected. She was the only one who could stand between those two and not flinch.
"Well," she said lightly, cigarette in hand, "I never thought I'd see you two in the same room. This island's either blessed or cursed."
Roger laughed heartily. "Maybe both."
Shakky's gaze flicked toward him. "Tell me, Roger… is Rayleigh with you?"
Roger raised an eyebrow. "He is, but he decided to stay aboard the ship. Why?"
Shakky smiled faintly, something wistful flickering in her eyes. "No reason. Just curious."
Rocks snorted. "Tch. You fishing for pretty boys again, Shakky?"
She shot him a smirk. "Not all of us are interested in chaos, Captain."
Ada watched quietly from the corner, observing how Shakky controlled the room without raising her voice. There was a rare, mutual understanding between the two women — both strong, both dangerous, but in entirely different ways.
As the night deepened, laughter replaced tension.
Kaido challenged Roger to a drinking contest (and lost miserably), Linlin arm-wrestled herself into exhaustion, and Whitebeard traded stories with Gaban.
Ada stood at the balcony, watching the waves crash against the cliffs. Shakky joined her, lighting another cigarette.
"You don't seem like the others," Shakky said. "You've got eyes that watch the world, not just conquer it."
Ada's voice was calm. "Maybe watching it is the only way to survive it."
Shakky smiled faintly. "You'll last longer than Rocks. You've got sense."
Ada turned to her. "And you've got grace in a world that forgot what that is."
The two women shared a quiet, knowing look — an unspoken respect forged in chaos.
