The heads dragged Harvey out of the court room as it was being finalized that death was his penalty haven being accused of asulting a lady
"Dad" Matilda cried as she followed the guards begging they let him go "pa"she cried harder
Matilda opened her eyes, sweating all over
^why do I still dream of baba^ Matilda thought to herself before looking at her younger sister who laid next to her. She whispered prayers to herself before returning back to sleep
The early morning sun shone on her face waking her up from sleep
"Hilda" she called out to her younger sister who was supposed to be sleeping tooo but as she got no response she became anxious
It wasn't the best of days and the king had ordered no female to be seen around during the early mornings as the demons were in search of breedind mates or sex slaves
"Hildigard" Matilda shouted standing up from her bed. But still yet got no response
"Hilder" she was becoming even more tensed and alarmed .
She walked her way or the sitting room and then to the kitchen but still no sign of Hilder
"Holy shit, where is this girl" Tilda muttered to herself.
She quickly ran to the shelf grabbing a pistol gun before making her way to the back door, just as she opened the door she ran into Hilder "where have you been young miss" she questioned in a tone more of relief than anger
"Saw a dog stucked to the flower tree and decided to help it" she replied smiling
"Hilder you are no longer a kid and you are aware of the danger of being outside for the whole this week" Matilda unable to find fault simple said
"I didn't go anywhere, I was right here" Hilder got annoyed at the fact that her sister was trying to dictate her life for her
"Am not saying you shouldn't go out, am just saying....."
"Saying what Matilda, you've locked me up for days in this courtyard, you wouldn't even let me take air outside because of rumors" Hilder yelled
"Am doing this for us, for you " Matilda holds Hilder's hands, caressing them" because I want us to be safe. For baba" she looks Hilder in the eyes "please"
"That's what you always say, tomorrow I am going out" Hilder still annoyed said
"Fine" Matilda agreed as today was the seventh day
Both sisters went about with their daily activities but Hilder didn't seem to be satisfied with the fact that she gets locked up for many days with out a reason or because of some dump rumor and she had made up her mind.
"Hilder" Tilda called out to her sister who seemed lost watching the wild. "What are you looking at" she asked
"Nothing, just wondering. What exactly is our there, beyond these woods" the question came as a surprise and most definitely did take Tilda aback
"Why do you ask" Tilda asked sitting next to her sister
"Why are we being restricted to not go out by this time every single month of our lives" she kept asking questions that made even Tilda wonder why
"Hilder don't tell me you intend on going out" Matilda's brain went straight to that thought
"Am not, I was just wondering" Hilder replied looking away from Matilda
"Promise me " Matilda stretched out her hands to Hilder waiting for her to shake it
" why should I, I already said I wouldn't go out, don't you even trust me" Hilder got agitated and stood up
"Commo Hilder. Okay am sorry, I didn't know you would get this angry" Matilda tried explaining things to her but obviously she was already gone
**Damien's POV**
The pain was becoming unbearable and the king was now running crazy
"We need to find one, and quick" Damien ordered the guard who stood at the throne rooms gate " tell the soiders we attack tonight, starting from building around the woods" he ordered and the guard bowed before leaving to inform the rest
He opened the throne room's gate, as he walks in he looked at the king who seemed to be half dead " your magesty" he bowed " you sent for me"
The king stood at the edgeof the throne room a glimpse of sunlight could be seen. The whole of the room was dark, it gave a really dark and cold aura. Damien walked to the back of the king facing the closed window .
"I've found her" he muttered not looking back.
"Where is she, I'll get her for you" Damien replied as he finally found hope for the king.
"I want to do this myself" he replied, his voice deep and cold
" it's the full moon tonight. Do you really want to go out" Damien asked worried about the king
"Are you the king or am I" he asked with a commanding voice but this time around he turned to look at Damien. He opened his eyes, looking Damien directly into the eyes. His red eyes meeting that of Damien.
"I won't dare your magesty" Damien bowed at the kings anger
"You may take your leave" the king ordered
Damien left but his mind kept on lingering on what the king had said
**Hilder's POV**
The night came in early as just as I was about drifting to sleep I heard that sound again
^what exactly was that, each time we are being told not to go out I hear this sound^
I looked at Matilda who slept peacefully, I didn't want to disturb her so I simply closed my eyes to sleep but I heard it again, it sounded like a dog crying for help, at this point it was mire disturbing and i couldn't sleep. I stood up and went to take a pick of what it was, I opened the back door and walked out of the building
"Hilder " I was startled when I heard my name, I turned around to look at Matilda
" you scared me" I heard my chest while I turned to look at her
"What are you doing outside"Matilda spoke as though she had just seen a ghost
"Something keeps on calling me" I told her the truth but she burst into I serious laughter
"Am serious" I tried explaining to her but she didn't seem to believe me
"I'd leave you to answer this call of yours"she laughed harder as she walked away
**Matilda's POV**
No body would possibly believe what Hilder said but then she needed space and I understood her so I decided to give her space
But then I stopped. What was happening I thought to myself as the moon light suddenly went deem and then dark. A cold breeze blew and then every where became mythical. Like there was a red cloud above our head. Just about that moment I turned back to look at Hilder but she wasn't there .
"Hilder " I called out moving towards the direction that she was a few monets ago and I saw it "red eyes " I saw it disappear with my little sister who seemed to have lost consciousness"Hilder" i screamed running after the creature but of course there was nothing I could do.
Tear dropped down my eyes like water. I watched as the moon shone and heavy rain poured from the sky.
