The Creation and the Catastrophe
In the three days following the disastrous blessing ceremony, I was confined to my room in the Velfist mansion. The entire Academy administration was too busy repairing the Great Altar of Revelation—and too terrified of the "Savior of Humanity" who caused the damage—to enforce my immediate attendance. This gave me a small window of peace.
I used the time to implement The Plan.
The Plan was simple: create an overpowered, charismatic decoy hero using my Genesis Arrival (Cosmic Summoning) skill and have him deal with all the social demands, the obsessed rivals, and the terrifying SSS+ dungeons. I would be his quiet, unassuming assistant.
I wanted a butler. A handsome, capable man with impeccable etiquette and enough raw power to hold his own against a panicked Demon Lord and a jealous Hero-Mom. He needed to look like a main character—the kind of beautiful, dark-haired ikemen who could command attention without me having to open my mouth.
I sat on my bed, concentrating on the flickering, glitching Status Screen—still locked but accessible to me in a rudimentary way. I fed the system a massive, ridiculous amount of mana: 7,000,000,000,000,000. My Triple Infinity Mana barely noticed the withdrawal, but the system screamed.
"I need a handsome butler with a secret assassin skill, dark magic mastery, and a transforming mech-suit, Gundam-like form. His name is Sebastian—no, wait, let's go with Kaelen," I muttered, inputting the data as fast as my tiny ten-year-old brain could process it.
The moment I pressed "Submit," the room erupted.
A bolt of pure, chaotic energy—Silveron's electric-blue lightning mixed with Charlie's scarlet chaos—burst from my soul, slamming into the opposite wall. The mansion's high-grade mana-dampening wards failed instantly. The system screen flickered a frantic "WARNING! OVERLOAD!" and then a message solidified: "Project Kaelen: 100% Success. Summoning Storage Slot 1 Used. Cooldown: 1 Month."
I was thrown backward, skidding across the polished hardwood floor, completely unhurt but utterly stunned. The walls, however, now bore a massive, glowing crater.
"Oh, for the love of the cosmos," I groaned, pushing myself up. "I forgot to factor in the Triple Infinity Mana power multiplier. I didn't summon a decoy; I summoned a Demi-Cosmic Deity."
Kaelen's Grand Entrance
From the smoking crater emerged the figure from my imagination: Kaelen.
He was exactly as I had imagined: the handsome, raven-haired butler, his frame tall and perfectly dressed in a crisp white shirt, black waistcoat, and white gloves. His violet eyes, framed by spectacles, were observing the room with unnerving calm.
He ignored the smoking hole in the wall, ignored the trembling furniture, and focused entirely on me.
"My sincerest apologies for the lack of a proper entrance, Young Master Leon," Kaelen said, his voice a low, soothing baritone that immediately washed away my panic. He moved with a speed that rivaled my 70,000 Speed—though not quite as fast—and knelt before me.
"The Genesis Arrival was... rather forceful. I appear to be stable now, and my memory is fully integrated. Kaelen, at your service."
"My name isn't Sebastian," I muttered, shaking my head.
"Of course not. I believe your designation is Rafehleon Velfist, Young Master," he replied with a perfect, elegant smile that was both soothing and terrifying.
My father, Zealous (the Demon Lord), burst through the (now functional) door, fire magic crackling nervously around his hands.
"Son! What was that explosion? I smelt Cosmic Mana!" Zealous yelled, before pausing, his Demon Lord eyes widening at Kaelen. "W-who is that handsome gentleman? He looks... dangerous."
"Greetings, Lord Zealous. I am Kaelen, the Young Master's new personal valet. A small gift for his 10^{th} birthday," Kaelen stated smoothly, standing and bowing with the utmost respect. He somehow managed to deflect my father's paranoia with sheer, overwhelming charisma.
My mother, Morgan (the Sword Sage Hero), stepped past my father. "Oh, my! He is so handsome, Zealous! And he fixed the crater! You can never fix anything, dear!" she giggled, completely charmed.
Kaelen instantly had my parents under his complete control.
The Broken Butler Status
As Kaelen was deftly managing my star-struck parents, I quietly accessed his status screen. I had to see the terrifying result of my accidental power dump.
Category Kaelen (Butler Form) Kaelen (Nightbane Vanguard)
Name Kaelen Velfist (Butler/Decoy) Nightbane Vanguard
Title Demi-Cosmic Deity, Most Highest Spiritual Form of Existent, Mana Eater

Unique Skill Shadow Kick Dark Dragon Force
Ultimate Skill N/A Secret Art of the Dark Thunder Dragon Apocalypse The End
I stared at the 300,000 Speed/Stamina in his transformed state. My 70,000 Speed was broken, but his was simply absurd. He was faster, stronger, and more lethal than my Demon Lord father and my Hero mother combined. The Mana Eater title was the most disturbing—suggesting he could literally consume ambient magical energy.
"Young Master," Kaelen whispered, leaning close, his voice cutting through the noise of my parents' praise. "I am here to serve your needs. You desire to be a non-factor, a quiet scholar, correct?"
"Then I shall be The Hero," he said, his violet eyes gleaming with purpose. "I will handle the Academy, the rivals, and the burden of The Five Idiots' blessings. You may observe from the shadows."
He was a perfect construct—a beautiful, terrifying bodyguard and decoy.
The Academy Infiltration
With Kaelen managing all the noise, the next three days were strangely peaceful. On the morning of the Academy's formal start, I—Leon Velfist, the Savior of Humanity—walked through the gates, looking exactly like an unremarkable ten-year-old noble boy. I was completely invisible next to Kaelen's sheer presence.
My fear was immediately validated by the appearance of the three terrifying rivals.
Princess Jenny Carmela, wreathed in Silveron's electric-blue lightning, stomped toward us. "The butler! You're him! The one with the five-god blessing! I challenge you to a duel!" she roared, the static in her voice popping like firecrackers.
Kaelen intercepted her with a bow. "Ah, Princess Jenny. Such fire. The Young Master is prone to mild anxiety before formal studies. Perhaps a simple tour of the Magic Arts Annex first? I hear their tea selection is quite... aggressive." He deflected the entire challenge with terrifying etiquette.
The air then turned instantly cold. Mariana, the Death Mage's niece, glided out of the shadows. Her shadowy purple death aura coiled around her, a frightening reflection of the God of Death. She didn't look at Kaelen; she looked directly at me.
"You," she breathed, her voice a soft, silken rasp. "You are the one. The pure, shining center. He is mine." Her gaze shifted to Kaelen, and the purple shadows condensed into obsidian shards. "And you, butler. You are too close. Your existence is a delightful novelty, but possession is 9/10^{ths} of the law of Death Magic."
Kaelen simply placed his pristine white-gloved hand on my shoulder—a gesture of ownership that was both refined and absolute.
"My apologies, Mistress Mariana," Kaelen said, his voice dropping to a dangerous, icy tone. "But the Young Master is currently under my exclusive contract. I handle all forms of existential possession, magical or otherwise. Shall we discuss the terms of your 'friendship' over a cup of Oolong?" Mariana froze, completely flustered by the confident claim.
I seized the moment. Get us out of here. Now.
The Dungeon Farm and the Cosmic Janitor
"Young Master, an excellent suggestion," Kaelen whispered, instantly picking up the mental cue. "The Young Master feels the need to... acclimatize to the ambient mana levels."
Before anyone could protest, we were out of the courtyard and heading towards a nearby D-Rank Gate.
"The plan, Young Master? My Mana Eater title means we don't need to kill the dungeon boss; I just need to absorb enough ambient mana to feed your system's Lock Levels. A discreet farm run," Kaelen stated.
We stepped into a typical, boring C-Rank Dungeon. We had barely taken ten steps when the environment shuddered. A massive ROAR echoed.
[SYSTEM ANNOUNCEMENT: DUNGEON RANK STABILITY FAILED. INSTANTANEOUS EVOLUTION TRIGGERED. C-RANK ELEVATING TO B+ RANK.]
"A spontaneous Evolution Dungeon? Seriously?" I groaned. "Even the dungeons are overdoing the clichés in this world."
"No need to transform, Master. Just clear a path. Fast," I instructed.
Kaelen didn't draw a sword. He simply walked. The new B+ Rank monsters—Gargoyles and Lizardmen—rushed us. Kaelen moved at his 50,000 Speed, and every monster he passed collapsed instantly, their bodies dissolving into harmless ash.
"My apologies, Young Master," Kaelen explained, stepping over a pile of dust that used to be a Lizardman. "My Mana Eater title causes an instantaneous, localized mana vacuum on physical contact. I am merely walking, but the monsters are disintegrating upon contact with my energy field. It is exceedingly effective for cleaning."
He was literally speed-walking through the dungeon, and every enemy was turning to ash around him.
Outside the Dungeon: The Boredom
While Kaelen waited for the ambient mana absorption to finish, I checked the outside world.
King Lexus and my father, Zealous (Demon Lord Flame), were at the front of the gate, backed by 8,000 Imperial Knights.
"What is going on in there?!" King Lexus roared. "The gate has gone silent! It's evolving! Zealous, tell me your son hasn't caused a full B+ Rank Dungeon Break on his first day!"
"My son is perfectly sensible, Lexus! He would only cause an S-Rank at most!" my father yelled back, nervously wringing his hands. "But that mana signature... it's pure, absolute Cosmic Power! It's that butler! I knew he was dangerous!"
Inside, Kaelen calmly produced a silver flask. "Master, the ambient mana saturation is complete. I find I am growing quite weary of the poor ventilation."
I sighed, staring at the tracker. "Kaelen, we're done. Let's go home. I need coffee."
The Butler's Speed Run
"Understood, Young Master. Coffee it is."
Kaelen stepped out of the dungeon gate.
The sight outside was cinematic: 8,000 soldiers, drawn weapons, and two national leaders in full panic mode.
Kaelen, the handsome butler, addressed the terrified army with a pleasant, slightly apologetic smile.
"Gentlemen, King Lexus, Lord Zealous. My sincere apologies for the disturbance. The Young Master required an early departure. I was merely performing a quick sweep." Kaelen glanced down at his pristine white gloves. "The C-Rank was unexpectedly dusty."
King Lexus and my father stared at him, jaws slack.
"Ah, the B+ Rank upgrade," Kaelen acknowledged with a dismissive wave. "It was quite weak, Your Majesty. Hardly worth the effort. The Young Master is quite bored. I am taking him home for a strong cup of coffee now."
Kaelen then simply walked. His 50,000 Speed was used not to fight, but to leave. He picked me up—a quick, blur-like motion—and vanished toward the Academy gates.
For five long seconds, the army of 8,000 soldiers and two legendary leaders stood paralyzed. Then, a massive cloud of ash—the remains of hundreds of B+ Rank monsters—drifted out of the dungeon gate. The army didn't see a fight; they saw a Decoy God exit a deadly evolved dungeon, announce he was bored, and leave a trail of monster ash behind him.
The Aftermath & The Status Update
We were home, sitting in the drawing-room, within minutes. Kaelen was already brewing a perfect Blue Mountain blend.
My true focus, however, was my Status Screen. It was no longer flickering. The massive mana absorption had stabilized the system.

New Skill N/A Lightning Blade
"I leveled up!" I whispered in awe. My Stamina & Speed jumped to 105,000 without even technically fighting! My Locked Magic decreased by 5 points. The mana absorption had worked!
Then I noticed the new addition.
Skill (4) Lightning Blade (Attack Magic) - Mana Cost: 50. Damage: 800 (Pure Shock Damage) / Duration: 5 minutes. Damage scales significantly with user Mana Pool.
I felt a surge of energy in my hand and held it out. A brilliant, crackling sphere of pure, high-voltage lightning coalesced in my palm, screaming with kinetic energy.
"It's... it's the Chidori!" I exclaimed, my inner otaku screaming with nostalgic joy. "A lightning blade! And it only costs 50 Mana!"
I looked at the description again. "Damage scales significantly with user Mana Pool."
"The system is completely broken," I mused, the reality of my cheat-code life sinking in. With Triple Infinity Mana, this 'normal' skill was essentially a handheld galaxy of destruction. "And I only need to do this 29 more times to unlock one of the god-tier locked magics."
Kaelen poured me a second cup of coffee. "Indeed, Young Master. Excitement seems to be a permanent fixture in your reality. Now, about those three rivals... they are likely planning their next move at this very moment."
