Chapter 271 - Chapter 270: Devouring the Fangire King

"Gah!"

With another sword strike, Raven sent the Kiva DoGaBaKi Form, transformed by the Kamen Rider Ixa, flying again. He was knocked out of the interior of the building and crashed onto the street below.

BANG!

The startled pedestrians scattered.

"It's the King!"

"The King is under attack?"

Among the bystanders were many humans and Fangire. Upon seeing the pitifully defeated Kamen Rider Ixa on the ground, they confirmed his identity through the Kiva Armor.

"Turn into my life energy!" The Kamen Rider Ixa had sustained serious injuries, so he decisively turned his gaze to the surrounding crowd and immediately activated his ability, devouring the life energy of several unlucky victims, including both humans and Fangire. He intended to use this to repair his injuries.

"Help!"

"Ahhh!"

Witnessing this, the previously gawking crowd immediately dispersed in panic.

"It seems you truly have gone mad," Raven descended from above, landing in front of him and halting his murderous rampage.

"What do you know! All this, it's only to let—" The Kamen Rider Ixa tried to speak, but Raven sliced him away with a sword, sending him flying back miserably.

"Boring. I don't care what you have to say." Raven felt no sympathy for this individual. While his original goal was for his son, Wataru, to inherit the throne and establish a world where humans and the Fangire Tribe could truly coexist, he had intentionally played the role of a villain and sacrificed many people to achieve it. Was he insane?

"Look, that Kiva is..." Some citizens stopped and saw Raven in Emperor Form. Seeing him prevent the other Kiva from further consuming human and Fangire life force, they were all deeply shocked.

"He's so magnificent. Could this be our true King?" Many wondered, as Emperor Form immediately conveyed a royal, extraordinary presence.

"Time for the final blow." Raven pulled the hilt of the Zanvat Sword in his hand, charging its power. He slowly walked toward the Kamen Rider Ixa.

"Farewell." Saying this, he swung the sword down directly.

BOOM!

The Fangire King was immediately sliced apart by the Zanvat Sword.

"No—!" He was unwilling to die without seeing his son finally deciding to become King.

But it was over. All the energy in his body was instantly consumed by Raven, just as he had absorbed the lives of the innocent before.

"..." Raven took a deep breath, feeling a surge of power added to his body. The power of yet another Kaijin boss from a Kamen Rider world had been absorbed. Even if this was only a parallel world of Kiva.

"Speaking of which, this Form is truly handsome. Among the Final Forms of the main Riders, it's practically unrivaled in looks." Raven admired his current appearance.

"Long live our King!"

"The King!"

As Raven killed the Kamen Rider Ixa, a roar of fervent adulation suddenly rose from the distance. It was the humans and Fangire who had spontaneously prostrated themselves on the ground, accepting Raven as their true sovereign.

"I have no interest in being your King." Raven was unconcerned and turned to leave.

Tsukasa and the others followed him out of the building, appearing in the distance.

"The new King was defeated just like that?" Yusuke was astonished.

At that moment, the Kivat-Bat returned to Wataru's hand after the Kamen Rider Ixa was killed by Raven.

"Don't go! I still have questions for you!" Tsukasa, seeing Raven trying to leave, immediately attempted to pursue him.

However, when he got close, Raven turned and slashed his sword across Tsukasa's chest armor.

"Ugh!" Decade was immediately sent flying, his transformation breaking mid-air in a messy fashion. When he recovered and looked up, the figure was already gone.

"Damn it, who in the hell is that bastard!" Tsukasa looked angrily in the direction Raven had vanished. He then turned to Yusuke. "Yusuke, why were you just watching?"

"I don't want to get beaten up again." Yusuke stood there awkwardly, answering truthfully. He might be naive, but he wasn't stupid. The disparity in power was enormous; there was no way he could win. Charging in would only be suicide. Moreover, the mysterious Rider hadn't done anything that truly harmed the world, he had just inexplicably punched them once.

"Alright, let's just go back first." Yusuke stepped forward and helped Tsukasa up.

Inside the photo studio, Tsukasa looked utterly frustrated. He felt like he had gained nothing on this trip but had been constantly beaten.

"Speaking of which, why are you still here?" His gaze fell on Yusuke, who was naturally sitting with them and eating dinner.

"I've decided, I'm going to travel with you all," Yusuke said without hesitation.

"So you just plan to eat and drink for free?" Tsukasa challenged him.

"Tsukasa, how dare you say that? Aren't you and Yusuke the same?" Natsumi walked in from the kitchen, looking annoyed.

"No way, I'm a photographer," Tsukasa quickly defended himself. "Unlike this guy, who's just an unemployed bum."

"I'm an unemployed bum? You should talk! Look at the pictures you take, who would ever buy those?" Yusuke taunted him without reservation.

While the two were still arguing, a small white bat flew in.

"Wait a moment, I want to travel with you too!" It was Kivat-la. It flew in unsteadily, nearly bumping into the old man, causing him to stumble and hit the nearby pillar, which brought down the background curtain.

Finally, three new curtain backdrops appeared. In the image, a large red Eastern dragon was spiraling in the sky over a city, looking imposing.

"It looks like the next stop is the Ryuki World," Raven walked in from outside, happening to witness the scene.

"The Ryuki World?" Natsumi looked at Raven curiously.

Tsukasa pulled out a card, the blank Ryuki Card. "I wonder what kind of trouble is waiting for us to solve in that world." he mused.

"In any case, when we get there, let's rest for a few days before doing anything. If you keep fighting this frequently, your bodies won't be able to take it," Natsumi reminded them. After every incident ended, the whole house automatically began to travel again, leaving them no time to rest.

"That's a good point," Yusuke nodded. For him, the final decisive battle in his own world had only ended a few days ago.
