Chapter: Back to Reality (But Still Us)
The plane touched down in Manila, and the familiar hum of city life wrapped around them like a welcome home. Jay leaned against Keifer, still feeling the afterglow of Paris, her fingers intertwined with his.
"I'm never leaving you again," Keifer murmured, brushing a stray hair from her face.
Jay laughed softly, her cheeks warming. "Not sure the world can handle us being together all the time."
He smirked. "Oh, it will handle us. Especially since we're officially unstoppable."
Unstoppable because, yes, they were married. And yes, Keifer Watson wasn't just a hot, teasing, possessive husband anymore—he was the CEO of Watson Corporation, already running his family empire with precision… and occasionally reminding Jay she was his wherever they went.
Jay, for her part, was about to start her dream major: Literature. Writing, stories, and eventually publishing. She'd been accepted into the same university as Keifer, which meant her mornings would start with him glaring over coffee at her reading list, whispering half-joking threats about her falling behind.
Section E had all the same chaos, too. The minute they saw the campus quad, Percy yelled, "Jay! Keif! Look who's back!"
Angelo and Aries immediately flanked Jay, protective as ever. "Watson," Angelo said flatly, "you better not mess with her now that she's ours."
Keifer raised a brow. "Challenge accepted?"
Aries shoved him lightly. "No, seriously. Protect our sister. Always."
Keifer smirked. "Don't worry. She's mine. Forever. Even in uni."
Yuri, Ella, and the rest of Section E crowded around them, teasing nonstop. Jay groaned but smiled anyway. "Why do you all exist just to make my life impossible?"
"Because," Percy said, grinning like a mischievous angel, "we love you. And also, watching you and Keif squirm together is hilarious."
Keifer grabbed her hand, pressing a kiss to her knuckles. "See, Jay? Even your chaos loves me."
Jay rolled her eyes, but her heart ached happily. Her best friends, her protective brothers, her impossibly infuriating yet perfect husband, all here together.
They walked into campus as a unit. Jay carrying her books and dreams, Keifer already looking like the CEO and boyfriend everyone knew he was, and Section E trailing behind, laughing, teasing, living.
And in that moment, Jay realized that coming back from Paris didn't mean leaving romance behind. It meant blending it into every part of her life: university, friends, family… and Keifer, who couldn't keep his hands off her even in broad daylight on campus.
"Jay," he whispered as they approached their first class together. "Literature, right? Promise me we'll still steal kisses between lectures."
She laughed, brushing her fingers over his. "Promise. But I warn you—I'm competitive. I might steal more than kisses too."
"Then I'll just have to protect what's mine," he said, smirking down at her.
Jay grinned, heart full, knowing that the best chapter of their lives wasn't Paris—it was here. With him. And Section E.
