— The Convoy —
Few minutes before the ending of Demon and Bunny's battle...
In Florida, a heavily guarded convoy rolled through Brickell — engines humming low, streetlights reflecting off armored plating.
Inside the main car sat President Verek, calm as ever, pipe in hand. Smoke drifted lazily around him as he listened to Valley, seated by his side.
> "Sir, the operation is already in full swing," Valley explained smoothly. "We'll be informed the moment the suspect is captured."
Verek nodded, exhaling smoke through his nose.
> "Isn't it weird how Bahlah gave up so much information about The Unknown? It feels off."
Valley raised a brow.
> "You don't trust him, sir? Seer already confirmed he was saying the truth — and you know nothing can be hidden from Seer's eyes."
> "Yeah, I know," Verek muttered.
The convoy slowed, tires screeching slightly.
> "Hey, what's the holdup?" Valley asked.
> "Traffic jam, sir," replied the driver.
Verek's gaze sharpened. His instincts screamed — something was wrong.
He looked right, then left. Two black Range Rovers with tinted windows had parked tightly on both sides of their car.
> "How interesting…" he murmured.
Valley looked at him, confused.
> "And who might this be?"
The windows rolled down — automated gunfire erupted.
TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT!!!
Bullets hammered against Verek's armored car, bouncing harmlessly off the reinforced frame.
Civilians screamed and ran for cover.
After a few seconds, the attackers stopped. Silence returned.
Forty-five seconds passed — too quiet.
Valley spoke cautiously.
> "Have they given up, or are—"
> "They're moving into Plan B, I guess," Verek cut in with a smirk.
> "Sir, should we move in?" the driver asked.
> "No," Verek chuckled. "Let's see what their next move will be."
The driver steadied his grip on the steering wheel.
Then — a car door creaked open.
A masked figure in black military clothing stepped out, walking casually along the convoy. His boots echoed against the asphalt.
Thud… Thud… Thud…
He stopped at Verek's car and knocked twice on the window.
Valley's voice lowered.
> "What is he up to?"
His eyes widened.
> "Driver! Turn the body force field on, now!"
The driver complied immediately.
The masked figure clenched his fist — and punched the car.
BOOM!!!
The impact sent the car spinning into a wall — but it remained undamaged.
The man didn't stop. He walked toward the other cars, punching them one by one with the same brutal strength.
Guards inside the convoy stared in disbelief.
The figure returned to his original car, drew a sleek TS12, and spun his fingers in the air.
Like clockwork, four more black Range Rovers pulled up.
Dozens of masked soldiers poured out, forming formation.
Valley turned to Verek.
> "Sir, should we still wait?"
Verek grinned.
> "All units — march out."
---
— The Ambush —
The moment the first security stepped out, gun raised —
SHHHHH-CRACK!!
An ice spear pierced through his skull.
Another erupted from the ground, impaling a car from below and flipping it mid-air before freezing it solid.
BOOM!!
The car shattered into frozen debris midair.
Everyone froze. Verek's cigar fell from his lips.
From one of the Range Rovers stepped out Shiver — his white breath visible in the warm Florida air.
He stood calmly among the soldiers in black.
> "Hakimi," he said into his comms, voice cold, "I heard you're done with your mission. Do me a favor — be our wingman on this one."
Hakimi's voice crackled through the earpiece, half laughing.
> "Shiver, you're gonna owe me for this one. Alright, you're all free to operate. You've got one hour and fifteen minutes — don't waste it."
Valley's eyes widened.
> "Sir… he's no older than seventeen."
Verek nodded grimly.
> "Yeah. Which means one thing — we're in the midst of The Unknown."
---
— Clash with the Unknown —
Verek's security opened fire.
TAT-TAT-TAT!!!
One of the guards tanked bullets and lifted a car, throwing it at Shiver.
Shiver smirked — raised his arm — and sliced the car in half.
CRASH! BOOM!
The halves exploded beside him, but he didn't even flinch.
Meanwhile, Valley, Verek, and Sniper Boy — along with three other guards — made a break for it, sprinting toward the airport.
> "Sir, we can't reach anybody — it's like our connection's been cut," Valley shouted.
> "Figures," Verek replied. "Same as Lagos. They're making sure no information gets out."
> "Damn… that means we can't call the heroes," Sniper Boy said.
> "Even if we could, it wouldn't matter," Valley muttered. "They're in Ukraine — handling that rift into the Abyss."
Suddenly—
BANG!
A bullet zipped past, nearly grazing Verek's head.
Sniper Boy reacted instantly, pulling him down.
> "Looks like we've got a sniper in play."
He crouched, revealing his metallic legs.
> "Don't worry. I'll handle him."
He took one deep breath, then jumped — launching himself into the sky like a missile.
WHOOSH!!
Valley and Verek stared in awe.
---
— Duel of Marksmen —
On a skyscraper nearby, Void watched lazily, eating chips.
His golden pupils gleamed as he grinned.
> "Ohh… hehe… I'm getting excited again."
He fired — BANG!
Sniper Boy's bullet deflected it midair.
CLANG!!
Void grinned wider. He fired again.
BANG! CLANG!
Bullets collided, sparks raining.
Their eyes met across the skyline.
Void chuckled — and both fired simultaneously.
Their bullets collided midair like miniature comets.
Sniper Boy dashed to another rooftop, firing rapidly.
Void mirrored his movements, leaping between buildings effortlessly.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Sparks and gunfire lit the night like a storm.
Sniper Boy fired three shots, then paused — scanning through his scope.
Void had vanished.
His instincts screamed. He rolled aside — just as a bullet tore past him.
> "Tch… damn, he's good," Sniper Boy muttered.
Void's voice echoed faintly in the wind.
> "A little birdie wants to play?"
He whispered—
> "Fourth Sight."
His bullet curved midair, tracing a glowing golden trail — straight toward Sniper Boy's hiding spot.
BANG!!
Sniper Boy blocked it with his rifle — but the impact shattered the weapon.
> "Damn… he curved it!?"
He tossed the broken gun aside, activated a sphere, and summoned another — sleek, white, and black.
> "I've gotta go all out for this one."
He launched upward again, spinning midair, firing at Void.
Void tilted his head — the bullet whizzed past, destroying his scope.
> "Heh. Don't need that. I got my eyes."
He let himself fall backward off the skyscraper — freefalling.
Sniper Boy watched, confused.
> "Is he giving up?"
Void reappeared behind him midair.
> "Hey, birdie," Void grinned, "welcome to the territory of an eagle."
BANG!
Sniper Boy's robotic legs reacted instantly — dodging just as the bullet grazed his cheek.
They exchanged fire midair — twisting, dodging, countering.
Void's bullets curved around buildings.
Sniper Boy rolled, flipped, and returned fire.
BANG! BANG! BANG! CLANG!
Each gunshot echoed like thunder over Brickell.
Then — silence.
Sniper Boy crouched, breathing heavy, scanning.
His heart pounded in his ears.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
He realized — Void's real target was Verek.
He turned — eyes widening — just as a golden bullet ripped through the air toward the President.
> "NO!!"
He sprinted, throwing a sphere that materialized a shield, blocking the bullet midair.
CLANG!!
Valley gasped.
> "How did you—"
Another bullet whistled — CRACK!
The shield shattered.
Void whispered from afar—
> "Bang."
The bullet pierced Verek's shoulder, blood spraying.
Verek screamed, clutching the wound.
Sniper Boy's eyes widened.
> "How… how can a bullet break reinforced shielding!?"
Across the rooftops, Void smirked.
> "Don't worry, birdie… I won't kill him."
His watch beeped.
He sighed.
> "Time's up."
He stretched lazily, speaking into his comms.
> "Hey Shiver, Hakimi — I'm done."
Hakimi's voice replied through the comms, echoing over the entire field.
> "Everyone, roll out."
Shiver froze mid-attack, an ice spear in hand.
He chuckled.
> "Damn… you're one lucky bastard."
Then — silence.
The Unknown vanished.
Not a trace left behind.
---
— Aftermath —
Ambulances wailed through Brickell, sirens crying in the night.
Medics lifted the wounded President into a stretcher.
Valley stood among the destruction — eyes trembling as memories of Lagos flashed back.
> "The Unknown…" he whispered. "They move like ghosts… but what's their goal?"
His voice faded into the night wind as the sirens grew distant.
The scene dimmed — streetlights flickered — and the city once again fell silent.
