Chapter 34 - Clash of the Devil and the Brat

Their blows blurred into a storm.

The sound of their fists echoed like war drums.

THUD! THWACK! CRACK!

Lexy, still fighting a Slay Beast nearby, froze mid-swing, eyes wide.

> "What… how fast are they moving…?"

Demon caught Bunny's wrist mid-punch and drove his knee into her stomach.

BOOM!!

The impact sent a shockwave across the street.

Bunny gasped, spitting blood — but even bleeding, her grin never faded.

> "Heh… you hit hard, love… makes me wanna keep ya even more."

She grabbed his neck and slammed him into the ground, straddling him in an instant.

THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!

Punch after punch rained down. Demon blocked each one, gritting his teeth.

Every strike numbed his arms — the sheer pressure of her strength pressed through his guard.

He snarled — and suddenly, his hand shot upward, grabbing her chest.

> "Oi—! You bloody pervert!" she yelped, gasping as a flush spread across her cheeks.

Demon didn't respond. Using her shock, he yanked her forward, locking her neck under his arm.

She screamed in rage, struggling.

> "Get your filthy hands off me!"

She slammed her hips upward, breaking the lock and throwing him into the wall.

CRASH!

The building trembled.

Bunny staggered up, rubbing her chest with a cheeky grin.

> "Was it soft enough, yeah?"

Demon wiped the blood dripping from his nose.

> "Don't ask me shit."

Before they could continue, a Slay Beast lunged toward Bunny.

Without even looking, she swung her hand — the creature split clean in two.

SLASH!

Demon blinked.

> "What the fuck…"

Bunny looked over her shoulder, smirking.

> "Told ya I was strong, love. Now stop holdin' back before I kill ya. And remember our deal."

Demon's grin widened.

> "Even when I use Stepping Wolf and Dancing Devil... you still think you can keep up?"

He cracked his neck, crouching low like a predator.

> "Should I use Zero?"

He chuckled.

> "Well… who cares."

---

— The Race of Death —

In a blur, Demon vanished.

SWOOSH!

Bunny barely saw the movement before his fist came for her side.

Her eyes gleamed purple.

> "Knew ya would, darling."

CLANG!

Their attacks collided. Sparks exploded.

A black aura flared behind Demon, twisting and violent.

Bunny's entire body glowed with blinding violet.

They moved again — faster, louder — each step a sonic boom.

Buildings shook. Ground cracked.

Their footsteps echoed through the city like a thousand heartbeats.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

Their afterimages danced across the battlefield — purple and black streams weaving chaos.

Any hero or soldier who dared approach was instantly blown away by the force of their clash.

They weren't fighting anymore.

They were erasing the distance between dream and reality.

---

— The Destroyer Unleashed —

Bunny ducked under a kick, smirking.

> "Missed me, love."

She drove her knee up — straight into Demon's stomach.

BOOM!!

The impact sent him flying through a skyscraper. The entire building collapsed in his wake.

When the dust settled, Demon walked out, brushing debris from his hoodie.

Still smiling.

Still calm.

> "You're mad, Bunny…"

> "And you love it," she barked back, eyes glowing brighter.

> "Nah," Demon scoffed, "in your dreams."

> "Already claimed ya, sweetheart," Bunny smirked. "Now let's end this properly."

Her eyes turned a deep violet glow. Energy burst from her body.

> "Blade of Destruction!"

Her right arm morphed into a massive blade-shaped aura, humming with energy.

She swung it — one slash — and a nearby building turned to dust.

From afar, Butcher watched, mouth agape.

> "This… this is diabolical!"

---

— Zero —

Demon lowered his head, eyes shadowed.

He placed a hand over his face, voice low and sharp.

> "A hundred sixty-three years of sorrow…

A hundred sixty-three years of pain…

A hundred sixty-three years of death…"

The air darkened. His tattoos began to glow black.

> "I call upon you… Zero."

Energy erupted around him — black and red spiraling like smoke and lightning combined.

Bunny's grin widened.

She floated upward, power rippling through the sky, her voice smooth and cold.

> "Come to me, my Demon… and show this Destroyer what a Conqueror truly is."

Their auras collided.

The ground shattered.

Thunder roared across the city.

---

— The Final Clash —

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Their blades met — Demon's dark crimson edge against Bunny's violet destruction.

Each impact tore through sound itself.

Cracks split the earth, the shockwaves sending cars, rubble, and soldiers flying.

Demon moved like a man possessed, every step burning through the ground.

The black ball tattoo on his back began to grin — glowing eyes, teeth like a beast smiling at the carnage.

They blurred, vanished, reappeared, and clashed again.

Two figures — light and darkness — locked in a dance of madness.

---

— Observers —

Far away, two silhouettes stood on a rooftop, watching quietly.

One of them smirked.

> "A Destroyer and a Conqueror… heh. Who would've thought history could repeat itself."

---

— The End of the Duel —

Back on the battlefield, their movements reached impossible speed.

Their eyes locked — both smiling, both insane.

They spoke in unison.

> "I'll make you mine!"

Their final blows connected.

KRAAAAK—!!

A brilliant white light exploded outward, engulfing everything.

The world vanished into silence.

---

When the light faded—

Only Bunny stood.

She staggered, panting heavily, blood dripping down her lips.

Her body trembled.

> "At least… I gave him a good strike…" she whispered, coughing blood.

The heroes looked around, unable to see Demon anywhere.

> "Is he… dead?" one asked.

Bunny laughed softly, her voice tired.

> "Nah. The bastard ran off… clever move, love."

---

— Aftermath —

Butcher's mind spun, unable to process what had just happened.

Lexy fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face.

> "We were outsmarted… beaten… by one teenager…" she cried.

Silence spread.

Every hero understood the truth — they had been completely defeated.

---

— Elsewhere —

Meanwhile, in a narrow alleyway—

President Verek walked toward a sleek black Camaro SS Chevrolet.

From the car stepped Vin, smiling.

He pulled the "President" close and kissed her deeply.

As they kissed, the President's form changed — melting into that of a young woman.

Fein.

Vin smirked.

> "Fein, you're lookin' fine as ever. Hope the mission wasn't too hard, yeah?"

Fein smiled, tracing a finger down his chest.

> "Nah, it was simple. They didn't suspect a thing. Followed every order — just like Demon said they would."

The two exchanged a wicked grin before kissing again, losing themselves completely.

---

— Demon —

Far away, on a bridge—

Demon sat on the railing, bruised and bandaged, munching on a burger.

Rain drizzled over him.

He stared at the city lights, remembering Bunny's grin, her voice, their fight.

He chuckled softly.

> "Looks like it was a draw… means we both own each other, little brat."

He dropped the wrapper, stepped off the railing, and walked toward a line of black jeeps waiting for him.

The doors opened.

He entered.

The engines roared to life.

VROOOM.

The convoy vanished into the night.
