When I woke up the next morning, I felt refreshed and full of energy. I allowed myself a small indulgence — staying in bed for another fifteen minutes, just lazing around before getting up.

Once I was up, I went to take a quick shower. As I got dressed, I used magic to neatly fold the bed. You always have to stay organized, or else you start picking up bad habits that grow over time.

After getting dressed and adjusting my clothes properly in front of the mirror,

I clapped my hands twice, which teleported me to my throne room.

Using magic, I made a long obsidian table appear — smooth, without any carvings — and a chair placed at its end. By the time I walked over and sat down, several shadowy figures appeared around the table. They conjured a hot cup of coffee, a plate filled with assorted pastries, and a spotless white napkin.

While I ate breakfast, I needed to come up with an excuse to show up at the hotel. From what I remembered, it was run by the Princess of Hell herself — she had a dream, that sinners could find redemption and reach Heaven.

"Hah… even if I saved every being in this world, it still wouldn't make up for one percent of my soul," I muttered, thinking about my past actions.

No one could call me a saint — though that depends on the universe. I've erased worlds, killed men, women, and children, innocent or not. I've violated women — spoils of war, as I like to call them. But for the record, I've never touched a child. That's a good point, right?

On the other hand, I've defended kingdoms, saved entire worlds, helped empires reach their golden age and the height of their civilization.

Anyway, back to business. I wasn't particularly eager to join a group therapy session in that hotel… but if I had no choice, I'd deal with it.

"Well, I'll improvise when the time comes," I said, shrugging my shoulders.

Once breakfast was over, I wiped my lips, stood up, and dispelled my magic — the table and chair vanished. With a simple gesture of my hand, the same portal from before appeared once again.

As I stepped into it, disappearing through the swirling darkness, I said quietly:

"Hell, here I come."

Time: 9:24 AM

Location: Hell / Pentagram City

In a dusty alley filled with trash, a small imp stood in the middle, grinning wickedly as he looked down at a piece of paper in his left hand and held a rectangular box under his right arm.

"Hahaha! Valentino's gonna love this! He offered a nice pile of cash for whoever can steal this package. And who knows—maybe he'll even let me screw a few of the whores he manages, hehehe…"

While the imp laughed like a cartoon villain, he suddenly froze. The paper and the box slipped from his hands. Then, with a sharp scream, his body was sliced clean in two by a dark portal that appeared out of nowhere.

When I stepped out of the portal, I almost slipped on something sticky under my boots. Looking down, I saw a small creature split in half. Realizing what had happened, I said:

"Oops… sorry," as if he could hear me.

Using magic, I cleaned the blood and bits of organs off my boot. Then my attention was drawn to something else — the imp's soul, the fallen paper, and the box. I absorbed the soul, though it was weak and insignificant.

I picked up the paper — it looked like a contract for stealing from a company. Setting it aside, I turned my eyes to the box. There was a label on it:

[ Big Ozzie's Factory ]

[ New Product – Future Collection ]

After inspecting it, I opened the box. And to my surprise, inside was a twisted 40-centimeter-long dildo covered in spikes and bumps.

"Well, damn… they sure know how to fuck themselves up down here," I said, laughing.

I closed the box and stored it in my shadow. You never know — it might come in handy one day.

As I left the alley, my attention was drawn to a crowd of demons across the street, gathered in front of several shop windows.

I crossed the street to see what could fascinate them so much. But as soon as I approached the group, they all turned around and looked at me with horrified faces, like they'd just seen a monster. I kept walking, and they scattered to both sides of the road, leaving me standing alone in front of the glass.

"Shit, I should've disabled my anti-demon aura before coming here."

Canceling my ability, I turned my attention to the display. Behind the glass were several large TV screens showing a news broadcast.

"Welcome back, Charlotte."

"It's Charlie."

"Whatever. Tell us about this new project of yours — the one so 'fascinating' it's wasting our airtime."

(Author's Note: skipping the pilot scene to avoid copying. The story resumes when Charlie and Katie Killjoy start fighting. Thanks for your understanding.)

As I watched their little catfight — and the flaming news anchor running around in panic — the demons watching from other windows around me burst into laughter.

"Hahaha, she's such an idiot! She really thinks our souls can be redeemed, hahaha!"

"Tell me about it! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!"

"Hey, guys, look at me!" (starts imitating Charlie's speech and dance crudely)

After watching that demon finish his little performance, I spread my wings and flew straight up. After about ten seconds of flight, I stopped midair. From there, I could see all of Pentagram City. My gaze landed on a large, isolated building to the north.

"On TV, she said it was called the Happy Hotel, not Hazbin Hotel. Whatever — let's check it out."

Thinking aloud, I flew toward the building on the outskirts of the city. It only took me a few minutes to reach its front door. From the outside, I could sense no souls within.

"Looks like I got here early. No one inside. No problem — I'll wait and hide my wings in the meantime."

I decided to hide them since I hadn't seen any demons with wings like mine during my flight. I'd just use levitation to move around and avoid unnecessary attention — or killing those who asked too many questions.

Once my wings were folded away, I conjured a chair, a small table, and a bottle of wine. Seated, glass in hand, I just had to wait.

[ 22 minutes later ]

A large white limousine, painted with red hearts, finally pulled up in front of the hotel. The back door opened, and I heard three different voices.

"Hey girls, check out the pretty boy with the angel face waiting for us," said Angel, pointing right at me.

"Shut up, Angel! Look at how he's dressed, and those eyes—he's not normal, he looks dangerous," Vaggie replied, frowning and pulling out her spear.

"Wait, Vaggie! Maybe he's here to join the hotel, to seek redemption!" said Charlie, overflowing with hope.

"Sweetheart, there's a better chance he's a debt collector than a sinner looking for redemption," Angel chuckled.

As Charlie, Angel, and Vaggie approached, I stood from my chair and stepped forward. My gaze scanned the three before stopping briefly on Vaggie. Her soul… it wasn't demonic. An angel? I'd forgotten.

Charlie pulled me from my thoughts when she spoke.

"Hello… are you here seeking redemption after seeing the broadcast?" she asked, tilting her head up to meet my eyes.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not seeking redemption. Though yes, I came after seeing your show on TV," I replied cheerfully, hands behind my back.

At my response, Charlie's big smile faded, replaced by a touch of disappointment and awkwardness. Her voice softened as she asked,

"So, Mr…?"

"Caelvor."

"So, Mr. Caelvor, why were you waiting for us in front of my hotel?"

"Well, you see, I'm what you might call… retired. I'm terribly bored here in Hell. And when I saw your idea of sinner redemption, I couldn't help but be intrigued," I said, raising my arms.

"And so…?"

"And so, I came to help. You don't even need to pay me. I can even take part in some of your therapy sessions. Who knows, maybe it'll inspire me to do some good — maybe even enough to reach Heaven."

I said this with a playful tone, bending down slightly so my face was level with hers.

"Hold on a second, I'll go talk to the others."

She turned and walked back to Angel and Vaggie, who were standing a little behind her. Their discussion lasted a few minutes. I could hear everything, but to sum it up:

Vaggie didn't trust me — said I looked dangerous — but gave in thanks to Charlie.

Charlie agreed, because every soul deserves a chance.

Angel also agreed, mainly because I was "hot", and he assumed my height meant having a big cock.

Well, at least it was a yes.

Charlie came back and extended her hand.

"We accept, but you'll have to behave in the hotel and attend the first ten therapy sessions, okay?" she said confidently, though her voice trembled a little near the end.

"Hmm, alright," I said, shaking her hand.

After that, Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, and I went inside the hotel. Charlie stepped out to make a phone call, Vaggie collapsed on an old couch, and Angel grabbed an ice cream from a dusty fridge.

While everyone was busy, I found a large open spot in the hall. Snapping my fingers, I made a massive sofa appear and threw myself onto it. It was far more exquisite than my usual furniture — still black obsidian, but adorned with golden carvings and soft sapphire-blue cushions.

Angel walked up, eyed the couch, then me, and asked:

"Mind if I sit next to you, handsome? I promise I'll behave."

"Of course, you can. If I summoned it, it's meant to be used," I said, winking playfully.

"Ahhh, this is fucking heaven! Hey Vaggie, you should try it — it's amazing!"

Before Vaggie could reply, Charlie rushed back in, slamming the door behind her and calling out:

"Vaggie! The Radio Demon is heading straight for the door!"

"WHAT?!"
