After Custos was slammed into the building, Vlad ran to Lady Cynthia and used his healing magic to restore her to full health.
"You have to do something and get Skye to contact The Captain". Vlad said to the recovered Cynthia who joined the battle alongside her clones and Vlad ran to the building Custos was in.
"Are you okay?". Vlad asked Custos as he cleaned the dust off his googles and put them on.
He began to heal Custos by covering him in a dome-like field where his mana would restore him to full capacity but Custos resisted.
"I'm fine." He said as he got up and grabbed his sword.
"I have to finish this."
After Custos screamed out to the cloaked men he enhanced himself to increase his physical capabilities, greatly increasing his stamina. He ran towards the smaller figure and slashed him with his sword.
The man began to burn in flames as the huge man approached from behind, his fist ready to strike Custos but he blocked the attack with his sword, gusts of wind spread around as the others struggled to stand.
Vlad ran to Skye and began restoring her to full health as the battle continued in the background. Vlad observing the bleeding Hendrix tried his best to speed up the healing process as pressure mounted on him.
"Please don't die." Vlad said to Hendrix as looked at his body on the ground.
Custos exchanged blows with the huge man, fist to sword for several seconds as Custos was well aware of his disadvantage thanks to his broken arm and stabbed the man in the chest using his flames and legs to kick him into several buildings.
"That should... slow him down". Custos said as he gasped for air.
"Sun Magic, you know that hasn't been seen since the great war." The smaller man said as he finally healed himself from the flames.
"It's quite dangerous, lucky for me. I meet you at this time. We don't need someone like you ruining it for everybody else." The man said as he raised his hand about to commence an attack.
"Screw THIS!!!". Edward screams out as he manifests giant metal fists with blue sparks flying out of them thanks to his Techno Magic akin to Gnomes and claps the smaller cloaked man with them.
"That alone won't stop me boy". The smaller says from within the fist as he shatters them by generating a huge surge of the same reddish energy the large man emitted. The energy was strange, eerie almost disturbing like a chill went down team beta's spines when they felt it.
The smaller man raced towards Edward at unbelievably high speed none of them could keep up and his attack was about land Edward reformed the fist and blocks the man from both sides, he released a great electrical charge that bathed the attacker in over a thousand volts.
"So you aren't a one trick pony, huh?." The smaller man said as his body emitted smoke. His body speedily recovering from the attack.
Custos and Cynthia engage the huge man with the weapons, they do little damage.
Cynthia's clones all equipped themselves with silver blades and infused them with mana hopping to bleed the huge man by using high speed attack. They attacked him from all sides, the huge man grunted in annoyance.
The huge man released some pressure from himself that pushed back Custos and Lady Cynthia.
The huge man runs towards Cynthia relentlessly taking all the attacks from her clones and begins crushing them as they screamed out in horror.
He finally makes his way to the real Lady Cynthia.
She coverts her dagger to a spear and using high speed she finally pierced it's neck but it was too late.
"Nooooooo".The fast approaching Custos screamed out as the huge fist put Lady Cynthia's head between his huge fists and begins squeezing.
Almost like the breaking of a vessel with wet clothes a loud crack is heard followed by sounds of drops.
He crushed her skull.
Custos fell to the ground, his comrades either struggled or were incapacitated, his sword began to slip from his hands.
Edwards uses his giant metal fists to attack the smaller man the man quickly adapted to their speed and hurriedly made his way to Edward's front.
"Dammit". Edward said to himself as he knew of the considerable speed his opponent possessed. The man raised his left hand quickly and as a sigil formed around it.
Suddenly several threads bind his hand, stopping him from casting the spell.
"I leave you guys for five minutes and this happens". Captain Cordius says out to the team as dragged the smaller man and swung him into the ground, crushing the floor beneath him.
"Captain Cordius. Nice to finally meet you." The smaller says out with blood flowing from his mouth, he cleans it off and stands up.
"Your spine should be crushed?". Cordius said to the smaller man as he approached him, his threads swinging through the air.
"Oh i just realised you weren't in the fight earlier.... I can do whatever i want". The man said as he manifested tentacles from his right hand, they continued to grow in size, wriggling and destroying everything in their path. Cordius dodged every attack.
"If you're going to fight me, you're going to have to do more than random attack." Cordius said as he blurred around still dodging all incoming attacks.
Skye was completely healed and proceeded to join Cordius.
They synchronized their attacks, making it unpredictable and hard for the enemy to follow.
Skye approached the smaller man from behind but he noticed, he let out a smile.
As she drew her saber covering it in mana as she readied it for an attack.
She disappeared once again.
"NO!." The man said out.
BOOM!!!
Skye had already stabbed his chest from the front using her vacuum to create a large hole where his heart should've been.
"You shouldn't have attacked us, we're knights you know that." Cordius said as he walked towards the bleeding man.
"Now tell me.. who do you work for?". Cordius asked the man as he looked upon him with killing intent visible in his eyes.
"You dare look down on me?". The man said to Cordius with contempt as he bled from his mouth.
"Then you clearly have no realised how dangerous i am". The man whispered as the hole in his chest began to regenerate.
"Oh i have". Cordius replied him as he drew his saber and swiftly sent it towards the man's neck.
On the other side of the battle, Layla began to manifest roots within the body of the huge man.
