Silence crept in as Mason didn't say a word, he kept a blank face and stared straight at the Principal. Then it finally hit him.
'What!?' In his thoughts, he was as loud as a speaker, but it didn't reflect outwards.
'Fuck! How the hell did she know who I am!? Did she follow me the day I fought the supernatural? No, at that point it was just me and Kaori, I doubt the principal would leave the academy during such a crisis. So how?'
It was shocking, but staying silent for a long time would only just verify the truth, so he came to the most plausible solution he could think of in such a short time.
