"Since there's nothing else, let's get some sleep."
Noticing that Yotsuya Miko had something she couldn't put into words, Arthur wisely chose not to press her. He simply smiled and stood up.
"Where do I sleep?"
Yotsuya Miko looked around left and right.
"The master bedroom on the second floor."
"The master bedroom on the second floor…"
She blinked at his answer, then hesitated before asking:
"Um… and where will you sleep?"
"The master bedroom on the second floor, of course."
Arthur's eyes curved into a mischievous smile.
"Ah!!!"
Yotsuya Miko froze, her eyes widening slightly.
So she really was going to share a room with Arthur?!
If they were already sharing a room… then what might happen next?
As those feverish, heart-racing, restricted scenes flashed through her mind, her face instantly turned crimson—like a ripe peach.
"Come on."
Arthur chuckled softly.
Then, scooping her up in a princess carry, he walked toward the bedroom.
The room was dimly lit.
Only a faint trace of starlight slipped in through the blinds.
A drifting cloud quietly swallowed the moon.
The night grew deeper, more profound.
When the first light of dawn broke the horizon, night's colors began to fade.
On the enormous, soft, double bed, Yotsuya Miko lay curled in Arthur's arms, a blanket covering her body.
Arthur slowly opened his eyes.
Gazing down at the still-sleeping Miko in his embrace, his lips curved gently, his eyes warm.
A moment later, he summoned the Compendium of All Things.
Entry: Yotsuya Miko
Rank: Blue
Description: A girl with super-spiritual sight
Obtained: Sky Magic
…
"Sky Magic?"
Arthur frowned slightly at the entry.
What exactly did this magic do?
Was it a flight? Something else?
Where did it even originate from?
The possibilities were too broad for him to pin down.
But he didn't overthink it—once fused, the ability's origin and effect would reveal themselves.
He closed his eyes and fused the ability.
The process was silent, without any ripple.
Three seconds later, Arthur opened his eyes, a flicker of realization passing through them.
So this Sky Magic came from Fairy Tail.
Specifically, it was the magic wielded by Wendy Marvell.
A derivative of Sky Dragon Slayer Magic—healing magic with extraordinary restorative properties.
Its effects included detoxification, reducing fever, and healing wounds.
It could even stabilize balance, curing motion sickness.
But there was a drawback.
The energy consumption was a bit high.
And the greater the difficulty of treatment, the higher the cost.
Still, for Arthur, such a weakness was meaningless.
After all, he had infinite energy.
"Not bad. Not bad at all."
Having gained a magic with such outstanding healing power, Arthur's mood soared even higher.
He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Yotsuya Miko's forehead.
Then, carefully slipping out from her side, he got up, retrieved a clean robe from the wardrobe, and left the bedroom.
Force flowed through his body, leaving him refreshed and energized.
Only then did he slip the robe on.

Leaving the bedroom, Arthur headed to the kitchen on the first floor.
He pulled ingredients from the fridge and began preparing breakfast.
For himself, he decided on steamed buns.
He measured out 500 grams of low-gluten flour, mixed with 270 grams of water and 30 grams of milk.
Then 5 grams of yeast, 15 grams of sugar, and 10 grams of baking powder.
He stirred it all evenly and left the dough to rise.
Next, he minced pork—thirty percent fat, seventy percent lean—and seasoned it, stirring with garlic water to bring out the texture.
Finally, he folded in chopped scallions to make the filling.
While waiting for the dough, Arthur thought of Miko.
So he rinsed some red dates and red beans, adding millet to cook a nourishing date-and-bean porridge.
Once the dough had risen, Arthur began kneading.
He kneaded gently in one direction to work the air out.
After kneading, he pressed the dough into wrappers and began shaping the buns.
Although Arthur had never formally studied cooking, he cooked for himself every day, and practice had honed his skills.
As long as you didn't have a "dark cuisine" talent, following a recipe step by step left little room for disaster.
Practice makes perfect: do it once, twice, and it soon becomes natural.
So long as you didn't recklessly add your own "inspirations" while cooking, your skill was bound to improve.
He wouldn't claim to be a gourmet chef, but after enough practice, he could certainly open a small homestyle eatery.
Stuffing the buns full of meat filling, he steamed them over high heat for fifteen minutes.
As for the porridge, since time was short, Arthur resorted to his powers to drastically speed up the cooking process.
When the buns came out steaming hot, Arthur used a touch of the Blue King's power to cool one in his hand.
Now it is perfectly warm.
He bit into it, the rich aroma filling his mouth.
The fluffy skin and juicy filling brought a rush of happiness.
Time slipped by.
At 7 a.m., the sun shone brightly.
"Mmm…"
On the bed, Yotsuya Miko's lashes fluttered. She let out a soft sound in her throat and slowly opened her eyes.
Her gaze was still hazy with sleep.
As though her mind was blank, not yet awake.
But after blinking, her consciousness and memory quickly cleared.
Her expression changed sharply as she sat up straight.
Recalling last night's madness—
Her cheeks flushed red again.
Like cherry blossoms blooming in sunlight—beautiful and captivating.
Not seeing Arthur anywhere, an unexplainable unease crept into her chest.
Click. The door opened suddenly.
Startled, Miko instinctively clutched the blanket tighter around her.
Arthur walked in, carrying a tray, and smiled gently at the sight of her sitting up in bed.
"Good morning, Miko."
"Arthur…"
Her eyes flickered, lips parting as though to speak, but she hesitated.
Her cheeks reddened once more.
"Today's breakfast is porridge and buns."
Arthur smiled, stepping closer to the bed.
As he drew nearer, Miko remembered she wasn't wearing clothes under the blanket.
Her blush deepened, her eyes darting in panic and shyness.
She clutched the blanket tighter around her.
Sitting down at her bedside, Arthur's voice was gentle:
"I'll feed you. Ahhh~"
Scooping up a spoonful of date-and-bean porridge, he held it toward her.
"…Thank you."
After a brief silence, Yotsuya Miko's eyes flickered, but in the end, she accepted the spoonful with a crimson face.
Warm, sweet.
Like honey on her tongue.
That little kernel of unease in her chest melted away—
As if it had never been there.
Looking at Arthur, who was feeding her so gently, something in her gaze shifted without her realizing.
The unease in her heart faded.
With each spoonful of Arthur's porridge, she felt the weakness in her body ebbing away, her strength returning.
