The ground trembled under the advance of the Demon Kings' army. The air vibrated with a heavy, dark energy, and the sky seemed to darken above the plains of Verdalis. Kaelen and Tavric stood atop a hill, surrounded by their servants, ready to engage in battle.
> "Tavric, focus on the central front, I'll handle their right flank," murmured Kaelen, calm but vigilant.
The first assault came immediately. A wave of demons charged toward them, accompanied by the two Demon Kings of overwhelming power. Kaelen's servants, trained for espionage and rapid combat, intercepted several enemy units, creating openings for Kaelen to strike with precision.
Tavric, with his defensive and assault servants, formed a living wall. Every movement was coordinated, every attack synchronized to channel the enemy army and protect Verdalis' vulnerable areas. The cavalry and infantry deployed by Tavric neutralized the demon lines while Kaelen, swift and methodical, eliminated the most powerful enemies.
> "The main Demon King is moving toward the center!" shouted one of Kaelen's servants, leaping to block an attack.
"Stay focused!" replied Kaelen, striking with his wings and fists, scattering a dozen demons in a single motion.
The demonic army advanced like a black tide, but the servants fought relentlessly, protecting their masters and slowing every offensive. Kaelen and Tavric coordinated attacks with surgical precision, always striking where the threat was greatest.
> "We must contain their advance!" ordered Tavric, his spear glowing with pure energy, slicing through demons trying to breach their lines.
"Our servants are holding. We cannot give an inch of Verdalis!" Kaelen replied, obliterating a group of demons attempting to flank their formation.
The wind swept across the plains, carrying the shadow of an imminent war. The servants and their masters formed a perfect unit, every movement calculated to protect Verdalis and slow the Demon Kings. The battle was fierce, but under Kaelen and Tavric's command, the demonic army began to stall.
> "Verdalis will remain intact…" murmured Kaelen, striking a demon attempting to evade the lines. "Even against the Demon Kings, we will hold."
