I woke up really tired today last night I slept off when Princess Tirzah closed her eyes to sleep that was a tradition I had to do everyday I make sure the princesses has slept before I do I don't know what happened to Princess Tirzah but she slept pretty late last night.
I looked around the large room and noticed most maids were already up I quickly stood up to take my bath and prepare for the day's work I was the one in charge of putting everything needed by the princesses in order before the princess rises up. I walked to Princess Tirzah room to help out when I heard some faint voices.
I was curious I mean who would want to be with Princess Tirzah as early as this. I walked very close to the room's door to hear whatever they were saying perhaps something dangerous is happening to Princess Tirzah I needed to know this so I can call the royal house.
I leaned forward and fixed my ears on the door to have a better view of what they were saying and then suddenly I heard it all I heard what I wasn't supposed to Princess Tirzah was with Cecilia and they were both discussing on something really terrible.
I heard a voice from inside. Is someone there? I quickly made my way to the kitchen before I got caught. I couldn't stop thinking about it why would she want to do that why would she want to kill her twin sister and her best friend also supports that what am I going to do I can't let that happen no I can't but what am I going to do what can a mere maid do. What are you doing here asked Margery. Good morning Margery. Good morning and what are you doing here. I..I..just... I don't know.
( Surprised ) You don't know I don't get you Lucia what are you saying asked Margery. I need your help Margery. My help? that's kind of odd because you are the brain of everything said Margery. That's shouldn't be the problem right now. Alright what do you want from me asked Margery. I overheard Princess Tirzah and Cecilia planning on how to end Princess Milkah.
I saw this kind of shock in her eye like she knows about it before but was kind of surprised is still happening. Why aren't you saying anything I asked. Are you sure of what you are saying asked Margery. Of course I am. Is she still on this she said. What did you say? Nothing.
Margery do you kind of know anything about this before I asked. No why did you ask. Your reactions, your gestures, your face everything is saying you know about this I said. Do you kind of hear anything about how they are trying to kill her she asked. I looked at the ceiling for some while but nothing I can't remember anything about from that I was too shocked so how was I supposed to pay attention to what else they were saying.
No I don't. Aaaah shit we can't let that happen we can't let her kill her twin sister said Margery. Yes she was her twin sister so why on earth does she want to kill her though I know they never liked themselves but never knew it up to thinking of killing each other I knew Margery knows about it already I just pray she isn't in support of them because if she is am really in a big trouble.
I heard my name being called I quickly ran out of the kitchen to answer whoever called my name. Where have you been you bastard aren't you supposed to have brought out my royal robe shouted Princess Milkah. Am sorry ma'am I got really busy. Busy with what aren't you supposed to get my things ready before you go help someone else she shouted. I didn't go and... Before I could finish my sentence I felt a sharp pain on my cheek she slapped me yes she did. The next time you speak while I do you would be thrown to the dogs she said and walked out in a pyjamas.
I made my way to the kitchen to see Margery when I saw Cecilia rushed in. Hey you Tirzah calls for you said Cecilia. Okay ma'am said Margery. Are you deaf she needs you right now would you stop what you are doing and attend to her really quick shouted Cecilia. Am sorry ma'am I just need to serve the coffee and that's all said Margery. Get out you fool she needs you now! Margery left the coffee and walked out of the kitchen.
When Margery had gone for some seconds Cecilia surveyed the kitchen to be sure no one was looking at her and then she brought it out a whitish powder in a paper I really can't say what it was but what kept ringing in my mind was poison. She picked it with her fingers and poured it into Princess Milkah's coffee everyone royal member had his or her different cups and plates and I was sure this was Princess Milkah's mug because she was the only one that loves pink.
I stayed at the kitchen's store room while all this was going on. I kept on waiting for Cecilia to leave the kitchen so I could pour the coffee away and get another one but I don't think she was going to it looked like she was waiting for Margery before she would leave. As soon as Margery walked in to carry the tray away she followed and behaved like nothing happened.
What do I do my dumb brain kept on thinking of what to do neglecting the part that Margery already served the coffee I was still in the kitchen's store room when I heard shouts from the sitting room. I ran into the sitting room and saw the queen trying to carry Princess Milkah while the guards helped her out I looked at Princess Tirzah and saw that wicked smile I saw when my uncle killed my mom.
