Grandmother Chen gave them a new room to rest and some food. But Akira and his brother refused to eat again, though they needed to find a place soon to hide, and for that, they needed strength.
"Akira, we need to leave soon, and your brother will only eat if you do."
After all the nagging from Yun, Akira and his brother were finally eating something.
"I need to talk with Grandmother Chen." Yun stood up with that thought, but Akira grabbed Yun's hand.
"I will eat later," Yun said.
"How did you understand what my brother said?" Akira's brother asked with bread in his mouth.
"We became close, I think?" Yun smiled, thinking it would lift the mood, but Akira's brother's focus turned to food again, ignoring Yun.
"I want to talk with Grandmother Chen, I will be back soon."
In front of Grandmother Chen's room, Yun knocked on the door before going inside, but he stopped, his eyes widening when he saw a war-axe displayed on the wall behind Grandmother Chen.
Yun immediately recognized the war-axe. "That war-axe… ar-are you a descendant of Shina?!"
Hearing that name, Grandmother Chen seemed surprised as she raised her head from where it had been resting on her hand. "It's quite surprising that you know about Shina, while some people consider it only a fairytale and people who don't care about it."
"It would be surprising if I didn't know," Yun said as he closed the door behind him.
"Indeed I am. My family has passed down stories of the Great War along with this war-axe."
"Descendant of Shina, Chen, I need your help." Yun sat down in front of Grandmother Chen; his tone was serious.
A bead of sweat broke from Grandmother Chen's forehead. "Who are you?!" she asked.
"I'm Yun from Heaven, you must have heard about me in those stories."
"H-how a-and why? Why did you come to Earth?! What about the contract?!" Her voice broke as her face drenched in sweat.
"We never intended to break the contract. Akira was born with the same power as the Guardian of Earth, and because of that, Hell has decided to kill Akira by any means necessary. Our job is to protect him and not to repeat the same mistake."
"That boy has the same power as that man?!"
"Yes."
Yun explained everything about their situation to Grandmother Chen.
After thinking for some time, she spoke again. "Where will you hide? Against an SS rank, that would be impossible."
"Shina possessed the power to create a pocket space with that war-axe, can you do that?"
"I can, but it will only last one hour."
"That will be plenty," Yun said with a smile as he stood up. "This conversation should be secret, and please don't tell Akira about his powers." With that, Yun left Grandmother Chen's room.
Yun didn't expect to meet a descendant of one of the Twelve Protectors, who protected Earth alongside the Guardian of Earth.
Before Nexis came to find them, there were a few things to do before executing the plan.
Yun entered the room again where Akira and his brother were, after eating, they were asleep.
"Akira, you don't know, but you're really a type of person who draws everyone in." Yun stared at him, patting Akira's head carefully, not waking him up.
"His condition seems good now…" his hand moved to Akira's neck. "...but this, I will take care of it later."
With that, Yun leaned against the wall and rested for some time.
After some time, Yun woke up, stretching his arms. He saw Akira staring at the sky from the window. Yun sat beside him. "Do you feel good now?"
Akira nodded, he started to write something on the floor. 'You're not from Earth, right? I have so many questions for you, but that doesn't mean I hate you, if anything, I'm grateful.'
"This kid… he's smart," Yun muttered. "I will answer all your questions, but first let's go."
Inside Grandmother Chen's room, the three of them were sitting with her, discussing the plan.
"So what I'm saying is we will only use Pocket Space when Nexis comes here," Yun said.
"But won't he find out immediately? Pocket Space will draw his attention, and he will immediately understand the plan," Grandmother Chen replied.
"That's correct. To avoid that, we need to do something more powerful than Pocket Space elsewhere. For that, we will use the villagers and make them use their powers at the same time when you create Pocket Space," Yun said, drinking tea as he explained his plan.
"That will draw Nexis's attention… that will work perfectly. I will talk to the villagers."
"Please do." Yun's lips curled into a smile.
Five hours. That's all the time they had left until Nexis would come.
