I teleport to the sky once again, before glancing at the ground and immediately teleporting towards it, where I find San Lin Chiao waiting for me. He is carrying the aura of a rank 5 peak stage gu master, so he's more than ready to be eaten.
For the past few months I've had him travel to Central Continent, eating through any clans using strength path that he happens to come across. In Southern Continent the legend of a cannibalistic blood path gu master has spread far and wide, which is to be expected when someone using rank 5 Blood Python Gu starts eating his way through the continent.
The gu worms on him have allowed me to know the general location that he is in, which teleporting through the sky repeatedly was more than sufficient to get me to him in less than half a day.
First things first though, I need information. "Did you encounter any trouble traveling to Central Continent?"
Resignation is the emotion his eyes carry as he stares at me. "No, all the mortal clans using strength path that I came across were unable to resist me. Should I continue to refine sects in Central Continent as well?"
Me shaking my head makes the light leave his eyes. "No, you've progressed far enough. Besides, if you lived any longer your extreme physique might detonate."
After eating him and retrieving his gu worms I teleport back to Southern Border. The return trip takes me just a few minutes, since I'm no longer teleporting through unknown areas.

Xin Ci giggles as I finish the refinement of a gu whose refinement I've put off for far too long. "Mistress, didn't you say that there's no point in refining this gu worm, since you'll reach rank 3 peak stage soon?"
Rank 5 Penis Gu is successfully refined, I take said gu worm and immediately use it. A quick check of my crotch confirms that my sacred treasure has been restored. "I did, but that was before I got a bad feeling."
There's something about this coming nemesis that gives me a bad feeling. I've refined three more rank 5 Ying Yang Rotation Gu for myself to use for healing, in total that would make for seven full heals that I can do one after another in the worst case scenario.
I also activate another single-use gu worm, one that I have been sitting on for a while now, Rank 3 Third Watch Gu. As soon as its effect activates my rate of primeval essence regeneration increases by three times, as does the rate at which I age. The former is practically a nonfactor for me though, drinking a few people dry is going to be more than enough to counteract it.
I'd held off on using Rank 3 Third Watch Gu in order to refine Rank 5 Fifth Watch Gu, but I've simply been unable to find any good time path refinement materials or gu worms. I can luck into any other path just fine, and have found more than a few extinct gu worms just through perusing the gambling dens in Wu clan city every now and then, but time path refinement materials and gu worms are just much more difficult to get a hold of for some reason.
Xin Ci pokes me in the cheek. "If you're going to bully Ningbing please let me be there so I can see her face, she always has funny reactions."
Xin Ci has grown on me these past few months. I pull her into my lap. "Who said anything about Ningbing? It's your turn to get bullied."
She doesn't blush, much, even as my hands start to paw at her body. After a few rounds of testing I can conclude that rank 5 Penis Gu has functioned as intended. After our fun Xin Ci gets all tuckered out and falls asleep from exhaustion, I hold her naked body in my lap.
As my eyes wander around her body my mind wanders on what else I should prepare to meet my next nemesis.
I'll definitely need to prepare more than a few gu immortal slaves to bring with me as bodyguards, even if that seems pretty overkill. The gu immortals would be kind of shit though, there is a reason that most sects and clans don't just mass produce rank 6 gu immortals enmasse.
A single decent rank 6 gu immortal would be more than enough to just plough through multiple gu immortals of the kind that I am enslaving. My gu immortals have no attainment to speak of, even if I can arm them with some nasty killer moves they are still pretty shit at actually using said nasty killer moves.
It's like giving a gun to a toddler. The gun is a mighty weapon indeed, but the toddler is a toddler, there's a fifty percent chance it accidentally shoots itself in the mouth.
Other than the gu immortals there's a few more preparations that I should make. Rank 6 mount type immortal gu are strong, but I don't have many recipes for them. When it comes to those types of gu worms right now I have the Monkey from the San Clan, and the Blood Python.
I'll take both of them with me to fight the nemesis, while I can't hold them in my mortal apertures my gu immortal slaves will be able to carry them around for me. The two immortal gu can be made stronger with the use of killer moves as well, so they'll be what I'll rely on to fight.
Xin Ci's chest rises softly with every breath as she starts to mumble incoherently in her sleep. The fact that a gu master of rank 3 is causing me to prepare so much for them is worrying me, nemesis or not.
Could the true danger be something else, is that fire immortal going to interfere?
Two rank 6 mount type immortal gu boosted by mortal killer moves should be more than enough to deal with him, unless some other gu immortal of rank 7 or 8 decides to make the fight between my nemesis and I their business.
I stand up, carrying Xin Ci in a princess carry, and head over to our house.
Stressing myself out about the coming danger would do me no good, actually preparing for it is what I should actually be doing.

Few days later.
A cup of tea is placed in front of me by the rank 3 elder of the Jio clan. "My love, are you finally ready to join our clan?"
Said elder is a thirty something year old woman. Her heart shaped face has aged like fine wine, and her figure is definitely something that she takes some pride in. Hopefully my nemesis is some shitass virgin, that way I might get a chance for a surprise attack while he's busy gawking at her tits.
She gives me a seductive smile, the moonlight coming in through the window enhancing her beauty to some degree. "If you did, I promise you that tonight we will make love like never before!"
I've been sending enslaved gu masters throughout the Southern Border to infiltrate as many clans as possible. I'm currently disguised as one of them through the use of a killer move. Right now my appearance is that of Zhi Liao, a short, scrawny forty year old bald rank 3 gu master. "Indeed I have, I hope that the other elders take no offense to the clan leader adopting me like this."
This woman, who Zhi Liao's been fucking, is supposed to be the daughter of the clan leader. I don't know her name, and I don't really care for it either. The only reason I'm in their village is to put some bodies between me and my coming nemesis. Zhi Liao is currently somewhere around the village, disguised as me. If he dies then I know exactly where to have the gu immortals carpet bomb to get rid of the nemesis.
As the woman stretches her back, intentionally showing me her cleavage as she does, I feel my first aperture break through to rank 3 peak stage. I close my eyes and cultivate the second aperture, before almost immediately breaking through to rank 3 upper stage to rank 3 peak stage.
Intentionally cultivating while holding an extreme physique sounds suicidal, but I already prepared immortal gu for when I need to undergo immortal ascension. The only reason I'm not speedrunning to immortal ascension is that I still want to explore immortal inheritances.
Opening my eyes reveals that the woman has started disrobing herself, at the same time I bolt upright as the gu worms keeping track of where Zhi Liao is located stop working. The woman is interrupted from stipping down by the ground quacking. "The village is under attack!"
I guess it is, it's not like I'd let anyone in the village live to tell tales of me. The room we're in erupts into flames as I catch a glimpse through a window of a bright red pillar of flames rising to the heavens. The woman tries to scream, but the air burning her lungs stops any sounds from coming out.
Left unable to even scream in pain, she dies in a few seconds. I'm not wounded by the flames, my strength path foundation is too deep for mere mortal flames like these to affect me. If I were in the pillar it would be a different story.
The ground quaking was from my gu immortals striking, the nemesis has to be dead. Wooden walls turning to ash reveal another pillar of fire, this one closer to me. I feel one of my enslaved gu immortals die. That is to be expected, they literally have no foundation to speak of.
I teleport into the sky, hide my aura with a killer move and turn myself invisible with another, before observing what's going on. The fire immortal isn't anywhere to be seen, neither are the rank 6 Blood Python and Monkey. The area where I felt Zhi Liao die looks like someone just straight up deleted things in a large sphere.
Is that the effect of a time path extreme physique self detonating?
That means that there's no gu worms to loot, which is a pity, but the third pillar of fire that erupts and kills another immortal gu master reminds me that there's other fish to fry.
He's still not visible, I take in a deep breath and activate a single communication type gu worm in my aperture. The second I do the two mount type immortal gu are released into the world. The rank 6 Immortal Blood Python Gu flicks its tail at the village, immediately obliterating both the village and the mountain it is on.
Rank 6 Immortal Golden Monkey Gu beats into its chest and roars, before both it and the Blood Python increase in size as they are strengthened by mortal killer moves. My slaves can't use killer moves incorporating gu worms of multiple paths like I can, since they still suffer from dao mark conflict, but that doesn't mean that they can't give them a slight boost.
As the monkey roars and beats its chest a fourth pillar of fire emerges, it strikes neither of the two gu worms, but I feel yet another gu immortal perish. Thanks to the light coming from the pillar I catch a small glimpse of the fire path gu immortal lurking in the forest. I immediately teleport behind him and stop hiding my aura.
There's no aura for me to detect, so he's been hiding himself just as I have. This guy must have some pretty good attainment in fire path to hide himself like this. As he turns around towards me, so too do the Blood Python and Golden Monkey turn towards us. I immediately use one of the rank 2 Aging Gu I have on him, he grows noticeably older, but not by much.
This fucker went through a big tribulation, he has more than enough dao marks to resist the effects of and not to die from rank 2 Aging Gu. I hide my aura again, teleport back into the sky and use a killer move to turn myself invisible right in time to watch a gigantic blast of flame incinerate the landscape where I used to be.
Receiving that attack point blank would have killed me on the spot. The Blood Python and Golden Monkey rush towards him, he erupts in a burst of flames and disappears. A swipe of the Python's tail removes most of the landscape, but the immortal is nowhere to be seen. Neither is his Aura anywhere to be felt.
I don't have any killer moves that can root him out, he doesn't have any killer moves that can root me out. A pillar of flames kills the last gu immortal I had prepared for the fight. The one I used to carry the Blood Python and Golden Monkey is still alive, I'm having him hide himself somewhere not to be seen, but having him fight and die would be stupid. I wouldn't have anyone left to carry the fucking immortal gu if he dies.
Scanning the area with my eyes reveals nothing, the Blood Python and Golden Monkey similarly don't find anything. The fire immortal doesn't create any more pillars of fire, leaving us in a stalemate.
Using gu worms to find him might end up revealing my location. Him using gu worms to find me would reveal his location. Neither of us can find one another, so we can't actually kill each other. The Blood Python and Golden Monkey start destroying as much of the landscape as possible, leaving as little area for the fire gu immortal to hide as possible.
He hadn't turned himself invisible, so if there's nowhere for him to hide then he shouldn't be able to hide. I don't know how good that movement killer move of his is, but the flames it leaves behind will inform me of whether or not he was in an area.
The Golden Monkey and Blood Python continue destroying the landscape, on the fourth swing of the Golden Monkey's fist the area that was about to be destroyed erupts in flames. The fist slams into the ground, causing a small earthquake and a shockwave that obliterates the forest. The fire path gu immortal is standing in an area of destroyed landscape, exposed.
He bursts in flames again, appearing closer to intact forest. I watch as the Blood Python rushes at him too fast for him to teleport away a third time, it bites into his body, spearing him with its teeth. A gigantic pillar of flame, much larger than any that he's used so far, engulfs the python, which immediately rushes out the pillar as quickly as it can.
It's heavily wounded, but that only makes it more furious as it roars in animalistic anger. As the pillar of flame dies out it reveals the fire path gu immortal to be gone, again. I feel a flash of his aura, before teleporting away as quickly as I can.
A giant pillar of flames engulfs the area where I used to be. The Python and Monkey rush towards the aura as I teleport away from yet another pillar of flames. My next teleport takes me right behind the gu immortal. I activate another rank 2 Aging Gu and teleport away, just as he blasts the area with flame and the Python and Monkey rush in to kill him.

Retconned a small thing in chapter 29, instead of FY giving the gu immortal the blood skull gu it was Gu Yue clans ancestor. I didn't note it down that FY lost that gu worm in my notes, so I kinda forgot about that and had him use the gu worm that he lost xd.
You don't need to give the chapter a re-read, I just changed up 2 / 3 paragraphs at most.
