Fanso province, Notting City.
In the dining hall of the luxuriously decorated second floor, Xiao Chenyu and his gang were laughing and chatting while waiting for the ordered dishes.
Just then a group entered the second floor and took their seats right beside their table.
Seeing the man with white hair, Xiao Chenyu and his gang flinched, visibly nervous.
'What is that guy doing here? And he even brought that poor rag tag group along with him?
Does he know I was just bullying them and is here to punish me?' Xiao Chenyu thought nervously.
The rest of his gang are no better, as they sit rigidly in their seats with both terror and awe, of the young man.
Hanrui noticed Xiao Chenyu and his gang but chose to ignore them as he took his seat and looked at Wang Sheng who was sitting opposite him in nervousness.
"You don't have to be so nervous around me, Wang Sheng. Take the menu and order freely." He said handing the menu to him with a calm smile.
"That's right, Xiao Sheng, my brother won't eat people, just relax and order whatever you want, and pass the menu to others when you are done." Xiao Wu encouraged while sitting beside Hanrui.
(A/N: used 'xiao' instead of 'little' when Xiao Wu called Wang Sheng , because she is a bossy girl and she did become their boss so i thought it made sense.)
Wang Sheng, while still nervous, relaxed while taking a deep breath and nodded to both of them.
"Yes, Elder Li, Boss Wu." He replied then stared at the menu, and unintentionally glanced at the price and gulped.
"T-This, Elder Li is this really ok? These dishes are really expensive…" Wang Sheng tried to say as he lifted his head and looked at Hanrui but got cut off by him.
"I said it's my treat, so you shouldn't hold back and order whatever you want.
Or do you perhaps not trust me? Do you think this is some elaborate trap to embarrass you and your friends?" Hanrui said, making him flinch.
"No, Elder Li, you misunderstood, I'll order right now." Wang Sheng replied, realizing his mistake, he started ordering
'No, no, I absolutely must not anger him. He helped us, work-study students, so much already, I must not make him feel disappointed or misunderstand us.' Wang Sheng thought.
Xiao Chenyu and his gang who were listening to their chat attentively relaxed slightly but kept their sitting posture tense.
'It seems he is not here for us.' They thought as the dishes they ordered arrived they started eating fast, trying to leave the place as soon as possible.
Tang San took the menu at the last and not knowing what to order, he followed another student's example and ordered a set meal with some sweets on the side.
Shortly after everyone orders, the dishes arrive.
Seeing the fragrance wafting from the dishes every student of dorm 7 started salivating. Especially seeing dishes with soul beast meat as the main ingredient.
Even Tang San looked dazedly at the meal filled with soul power.
Despite their hunger and urge to devour the food they collectively stared at Hanrui to let him start before they did.
Hanrui nodded as he looked at them with appreciation, and started eating slowly.
While Xiao Wu serves him food from time to time he does the same to her, creating a warm family atmosphere making the student's heart melt as they look at the brother and sister duo.
Tang San who was eating at the side felt envious for the first time in his two lives as he looked at the duo and felt like he lost something.
'What is this feeling in my chest? It feels stuffy and uncomfortable.' Tang san thought as he took big gulps of water.
Xiao Chenyu and his gang finally finished eating and left hurriedly.
Wang sheng and his friends snickered after they left while Hanrui gave a faint smile.
Tang San couldn't hold his envy in the end and quickly finished his meal before making an excuse to leave.
Wang sheng, feeling concerned, finished eating and followed after him.
Just as Tang San was at the door, the door opened and Yu Xiaogong walked in.
Seeing his master, Tang San's gloominess reduced and he smiled as he approached his master.
"Teacher, you are here." Tang san said to Yu Xiaogong.
Yu Xiaogong who noticed his disciple smiled and placed his hand on his shoulder and nodded.
"Tang San, are you leaving? Did you finish eating already?" Yu Xiaogong asked.
Tang San nodded a bit unnaturally, not wanting to talk about that topic, but still spoke up.
"Yes, teacher. I just finished lunch. Elder Li gave a treat for dorm 7 on the second floor."
Yu Xiaogong seeing his disciple talk unnaturally quickly sent him off to his living quarters.
"I see, I'll dine and return in a while, go to my place, let's talk when I get back."
Tang San nodded, feeling the concern in his master's tone.
Yu Xiaogong patted Tang San one last time before leaving to the second floor.
Tang San was just about to go when Wang Sheng spoke up, concerned.
"Tang San, did you just call him, teacher? But he is not a teacher in the Academy.
Did you worship him as your master? Do you know, he is just a great soul master, when he is nearly 50 years old?
People say he didn't have much chance to level up beyond that.
Do you think you have been too hasty?"
Tang San, who just calmed down a little, instantly flared up hearing that.
"Wang Sheng, thank you for your concern, but don't talk about my master like that next time. If you do, we can have another fight and see what happens."
After saying that he quickly stormed off while leaving a bewildered Wang Sheng behind.
'You barely defeated me, without me a beast type Soul Master using my Martial Soul possession and you are feeling smug about it?
Especially when you lost in 2 moves against a girl? Tang San, my kindness is wasted on you.' Wang Sheng thought, seeing the receding back of Tang San.
