From behind, a relatively tall young teenager appeared with brown hair and a ponytail reaching down to his shoulders.
"AMAAAAAA-SAAAAAN, WE'RE ABOUT TO HEAD OUT!! WE'VE GOT A PRETTY INTERESTING ONE TODAY!"
"I will be right behind you. Just be a little more quiet will you?" With an annoyed look he immediately realised his rookie mistake.
'Ah. She's going to kill me later isn't she.. I didn't know she was talking to herself again..' Were his only thoughts as he slowly approached the staircase leading up to the praying box.
"I might end up deaf if your voice keeps breaking sound barriers."
"Gotcha." His tone gave off an impression of a scared puppy.
Clapping both her hands together and bowing deeply, she got up and proceeded to head out with her rookie. Although this young man would more or less be considered a prodigy in this day and age.
"Hotaru-kun."
"Yeah? What's up?"
"Make sure to practise your control today. You tend to get overly excited and overexert yourself."
"Yes ma'am." Saluting her, he appeared to be in a very funny mood.
"Good. Then shall we head out?"
"You betcha!" His name is Ayano Hotaru, codename: The unrelenting Blaze.
While walking towards the exit of the local shrine, they both discussed different tactics for the upcoming sortie.
"I'm kind of surprised we're already going out on a sortie shortly after the awards you know?"
"You ought not to be. Wherever we might be, or whenever it might be, duty calls. Such is what it means to be a Stabilizer."
"Hah, I guess you wouldn't be wrong! Alright! Wanna hear what the people picked up today?"
