Scene 1 – Escape from the Basement
The basement door slammed open, Hopper yelling over the storm.
Hopper: "Go! Out the back, now!"
Mike grabbed Moon's hand, pulling her toward the rear door. Everyone scrambled—Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max, El, Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, Robin—all soaked instantly as rain pelted them. The wind howled, trees bending sideways.
Dustin (shouting): "This isn't just a storm! This is her storm!"Moon (panting): "I… can't stop it!"Mike (squeezing her hand): "You don't have to! Just stay with me, keep moving!"
Scene 2 – Papa's Arrival
Black vans screeched across the slick street, headlights blinding in the rain. Guards in dark suits spilled out, rifles aimed.
And then he stepped into the storm. Dr. Brenner. Umbrella in one hand, his pale face calm against the chaos.
Papa (voice carrying over the storm): "Moon! Stop running. You belong with me."
Moon froze. Her chest rose and fell sharply, violet light bleeding into her eyes.
Max (tugging her arm): "Don't listen to him—keep going!"Moon (hoarse whisper): "If I keep running… he'll never stop."
She turned to Mike, gripping his hand one last time.
Moon (soft, urgent): "Go. Please. Trust me."
Mike (desperate): "No! I'm not leaving you again!"
She brushed his cheek with trembling fingers, violet sparks crackling between them.
Moon: "You already saved me. Now let me save you."
Scene 3 – The Fight Begins
Moon stepped forward into the rain. The storm answered her. Thunder cracked, lightning laced across the clouds. Wind ripped at her hair as violet light surged from her eyes.
Guards charged. Moon lifted her hand—BOOM! A bolt of lightning struck the pavement, sending two men flying. Another wave of her hand whipped the rain into shards of ice, pelting the guards until they scrambled for cover.
Dustin (gaping): "Holy crap…"Lucas (shouting): "She's a one-woman army!"
Papa didn't flinch. He stepped closer, rain dripping down his umbrella.
Papa (calm, chilling): "Do you think this is freedom, child? You'll always be mine. I made you what you are."
Moon's breath hitched. Her power faltered, the storm flickering uncertainly. Mike took a step forward before Hopper yanked him back.
Mike (yelling): "Don't listen to him! You're not his—you're you! Moon, you're ours!"
Her eyes blazed brighter, violet fire sparking at her fingertips.
Moon (screaming): "You don't own me!"
She slammed her hands down. A shockwave of fire, ice, wind, and lightning erupted all at once, blasting guards and flipping two vans onto their sides. The ground shook like an earthquake.
Scene 4 – The Kids React
Max, Will, and Mike stopped dead in their tracks, staring at her in awe and terror.
Will (whispering, wide-eyed): "She's fighting for us…"Max (clutching her head): "She's gonna kill herself doing it!"El (quiet, shaken): "She's stronger… than me."
Steve shielded Robin as debris flew past them.
Steve (muttering): "She's insane… and she's incredible."Robin (snapping): "Focus, dingus, we need to live through this first!"
Scene 5 – Papa vs Moon
Papa, bruised but standing, walked through the wreckage like a shadow.
Papa (raising his voice): "This is your destiny, Moon. You were born for this. Born to open the door."
The purple moon glowed brighter overhead, casting Hawkins in an eerie glow. The storm twisted violently, like the sky itself was tearing open.
Moon's body shook, but she stood her ground, tears streaking down her rain-soaked cheeks.
Moon (screaming through the storm): "I'm not your weapon! I'm not your prisoner! I'm ME!"
Lightning exploded from her body, striking the ground around Papa. He raised an arm to shield himself, his face lit by violet fire. For the first time, he looked shaken.
The kids screamed for Moon. Mike tried to break free of Hopper's grip, yelling her name over and over.
Mike (screaming): "Moon! Come back!"
She turned her head just enough for her violet eyes to meet his. For a moment, her storm paused, the rain hanging midair like glass.
And then—BOOM! Purple lightning ripped through the sky, the full moon above Hawkins burning bright violet. The ground shook violently as if the world itself was splitting apart.
The last image: Moon standing alone in the storm, glowing like a living star, while Papa grinned faintly through the wreckage.
The storm had only just begun.
