Hiashi Hyuga frowned as he looked at his younger daughter standing near the door.
"When did you start eavesdropping?"
Hanabi lowered her head nervously.
"Father…"
Chen Xing chuckled and waved his hand.
"Uncle Hiashi, she probably just arrived. If she wants to listen, let her stay."
Hiashi hesitated, then nodded.
"Fine. Come in."
Hanabi Hyuga quickly sat beside Chen Xing, still looking cautious.
Chen Xing continued speaking calmly.
"The Sage of Six Paths—Hagoromo Otsutsuki—had a brother."
Hiashi and Hanabi looked at him in surprise.
"That brother was Hamura Otsutsuki."
Hiashi's eyes widened.
"The Hyuga Clan… descends from him?"
Chen Xing nodded.
"Yes. Your Byakugan originates from Hamura's bloodline."
Hanabi stared at him, shocked.
"So the Hyuga Clan is related to the Sage of Six Paths?"
Chen Xing stretched lazily before continuing.
"Hagoromo passed his power to the Uchiha Clan and Senju Clan through his sons."
"But Hamura inherited a different power."
Hiashi leaned forward slightly.
"And that power?"
Chen Xing replied calmly.
"The ultimate evolution of the Byakugan."
Both father and daughter stared at him.
"The Tenseigan."
Hiashi fell silent.
Chen Xing continued.
"I only learned about it from ancient records. Even within the Hyuga Clan, the method to awaken it has long been lost."
Hiashi slowly nodded.
That explained why no one in the clan had ever achieved such a transformation.

The next morning, Naruto competed with Hanabi at the river.
The result was obvious.

He ran across the river surface with ease.
Hanabi lost the contest.

"You cheated!"
Chen Xing laughed.

Beside him, Sasuke was just as tired but refused to complain.

Even Kakashi Hatake was surprised by their progress.
Naruto recovered quickly thanks to the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside him.
Sasuke, unwilling to fall behind, pushed himself even harder.
From a nearby tree branch, Chen Xing watched them lazily.

At the entrance of Konohagakure, several shinobi wearing Celestial Village uniforms entered the gate.
They looked around the famous village curiously.
"So this is Konoha," one of them said.
Another pointed toward the Hokage Rock in the distance.
"That monument is impressive."
Their leader smiled proudly.
"Our Hoshigakure may be smaller, but it's growing fast."
Back in the forest, Chen Xing suddenly opened his eyes.
"Kakashi," he said calmly.
Kakashi Hatake appeared on a nearby branch.
"They've arrived," Kakashi said.
Chen Xing nodded.
"Right on time."
He jumped down from the tree.
In a flash of speed, he disappeared toward the village gate.
The Chunin Exams were about to begin.
