Chapter 127 - CHAPTER 126

Although Hiashi Hyuga wanted to know more about the Hyuga Clan's history, he remained cautious.

He could not be certain whether Chen Xing was telling the truth.

Chen Xing watched him calmly.

"First, understand this," he said. "Whether you agree or not doesn't really matter. If I wanted to take Hinata away, no one in Konoha could stop me."

Hiashi's expression darkened.

"Celestial Shadow, are you looking down on Konoha and the Hyuga Clan?"

Before he could continue, he suddenly froze.

Chen Xing's eyes had turned scarlet.

Within them spun a four-pointed pattern.

The Mangekyo Sharingan.

Hiashi's heart trembled.

"How is that possible? You're not an Uchiha Clan member."

Chen Xing closed his eyes again.

"I'm not," he said calmly. "But that doesn't mean I can't control the Sharingan."

Hiashi remained silent for a moment.

"Then why pursue Hinata? Is it not for the Byakugan?"

Chen Xing shook his head.

"The Byakugan is powerful, but I have no interest in taking it."

He looked directly at Hiashi.

"If I wanted the Byakugan, I would have taken Hinata already. No one would have been able to stop me."

Hiashi knew that was true.

During missions outside the village, Chen Xing could have easily abducted her.

But he hadn't.

Even so, Hiashi remained firm.

"I still cannot agree."

Chen Xing sighed slightly.

"I'm speaking to you as Hinata's father. Otherwise this conversation would be unnecessary."

He continued calmly.

"You know the current state of the ninja world. If conflict breaks out between Konoha and my Celestial Village, both sides would suffer."

Hiashi frowned but did not argue.

After the Third Great Ninja War, the balance between villages remained fragile. A major war could easily escalate again.

Chen Xing leaned back slightly.

"From a father's perspective, you should want Hinata to have a strong partner."

Hiashi remained silent for a long time.

Finally he spoke.

"Even if I agreed… the village elders would not accept it easily."

Chen Xing smiled faintly.

"That's my problem to handle."

Hiashi looked at him carefully.

After weighing the situation, he slowly nodded.

"I will not oppose it."

Chen Xing raised his teacup.

"Wise decision."

The Origin of the Hyuga

After making his choice, Hiashi's expression relaxed slightly.

"Now," he said, "tell me what you meant earlier about the Hyuga Clan's origins."

Chen Xing nodded.

"If I tell you the truth, you might not believe it."

Hiashi frowned.

"Why?"

"Because the story begins with Hagoromo Otsutsuki—the Sage of Six Paths."

Hiashi stiffened.

"In the ninja world, most people think he's only a legend."

Chen Xing shook his head.

"He was real."

Hiashi stared at him, shocked.

"If that's true… then what does that have to do with the Hyuga?"

Chen Xing calmly answered.

"The Hyuga Clan is not directly descended from Hagoromo."

Hiashi blinked.

"The bloodline of the Sage passed primarily to the Uchiha Clan, the Senju Clan, and the Uzumaki Clan."

Hiashi was stunned.

"Then what about the Hyuga?"

Before Chen Xing could answer, he suddenly glanced toward the door.

"Huahuo," he said lightly. "You can come in now. No need to keep listening outside."

The door slid open slightly.

Hanabi Hyuga stepped inside awkwardly, her face slightly red.
