I frowned as I stared at the lifeless body of the man who had attacked me. I had gone to investigate him only to find out that he was dead.
"He was found dead this morning, Your Highness," Kylan announced, his fingers gently touching the assailant's neck. "It's strange because I ensured the guards watched him throughout the night, but suddenly, he was found like this."
My frown deepened as I leaned in to examine the lifeless body. I sniffed the air, a hint of amusement in my voice. "He was fed with Letiti," I remarked, straightening up with a newfound resolve.
"The one behind this is either from the court or someone close to the royal family, aiming to eliminate me, "I stated, my mind racing with possibilities of who it could be.
"Do you have any suspicions, Your Highness?" Kylan inquired, eager to assist in the investigation.
