This was just another one of Olisa's antics.
Her smile returned, softer this time. "Sure," she said with playful sincerity. "I'll leave immediately if I have to, since Big Brother Olisa will protect me."
Her tone carried a genuine warmth. It was her first time calling someone Big Brother, and to her own surprise, it made her oddly happy.
Hearing her call him Big Brother, Olisa's grin stretched so wide it could have rivaled the sun. What began as a joke now felt oddly genuine.
Having a little sister feels so different from having a brother, he thought proudly. I'll protect her no matter what!
Chibuzor, however, didn't share the sentiment. A faint shadow crossed his face as he shot Olisa a cold, warning glare. The air around him seemed to drop a few degrees.
"You dare encourage my wife to leave me?" he asked coolly, voice cutting through the room like ice. "It seems your projects aren't that important to you after all."
