Puki—Puki—
Two Pukis walked through the deep giant passage, moving further and further away from the notice board.
Although it's a forbidden zone, there were no guards along the way. This is the usual style of the Fungus Castle; the real need for guards is in busy areas where order needs to be maintained, while important zones are constantly watched by the boss. No one could possibly sneak in.
However, now that the boss is gone, this forbidden zone seems to have become a no-man's land where one can come and go at will.
Norris, however, dared not walk quickly. He kept turning his mushroom cap back and forth, observing the surroundings, as if afraid something terrible from experiments would jump out.
Karen, on the other hand, walked casually, like a tourist, taking larger steps than Norris, occasionally pulling Norris along with a tentacle, like on a date.
"This forbidden zone doesn't feel much different except there are fewer Glowing Mushrooms!"
